Yamuna Ghat

Yamuna ghat has become popular these days for pre martial shoots n Instagram photography but it horribly dirt n gives foul smell.
People fed the birds with packet food n throw the empty wrappers there itself which make the situation all the more worst.
This place can b paradise for delhi n NCR if delhi govt takes the initiative to clean n beautify it .

The Nigam bodh ghat is beautiful. The sunrise there at winter is a must watch because if one wants for a boat ride in winter there are a lots of seagulls making it a perfect view and awesome photography location. The bad part is that the ghats were extremely dirty. I went there for a clean up initiative by a content creator and with the help of an NGO. And we could clean some of the ghats. So it's a request to whoever visiting and living there to keep the ghats clean because this is one of the most beautiful location of Delhi

Is a serene spot

Only problem is
It's not clean
It does not have an infrastructure

And doesn't really feel safe to pass through the narrow lanes passing through closely spaced homes
Although there's no reason to travel at night as the beauty starts fading at sunset.The birds fly back home the light goes out and water turns dark

Suggestion - Visit the spot before 5

Advantages - Photography spot with birds in background, small boat rides to middle of water and feed birds while getting clicked

Negative -
The place holds great potential to be a tourist spot but no infrastructure and program developmenta have happened

Plaza at edge with Aartis over it could really activate the space for tourist to come in

Generate revenue for locals and let everyone enjoy the scene

Although this might hinder the birds ecosystem
So a very thoughtful steps for controlled development should be considered

Nice relaxing and peaceful area. The yamuna kept dirty and very smelly. But the view you get is just amazing. If the govt and locals take an initiative to clean our water sources , it would be one of the best place of delhi. Must visit. That day was my most memorable day also....

If you are a bird lover and want to have some peaceful moments go there and watch them fly all around you. Those who want to record these memories can click some amazing pictures. Best time is sunrise and sunset...because the golden glow of the sun makes it more amazing. However even if you don't get the clear Sky your experience will be worth it.

You can park easily outside and get to the ghat which is only 50metres from there.
Boat costs 100 per person and you can get food for birds @50 rupees for one packet.
Experiencing birds early morning with sunrise is really beautiful and mesmerizing.

This place offers a serene escape along the river. The historical significance and religious ambiance make it a unique spot. I would suggest you to get there early in the morning to watch the sunrise. Seagulls are more in number during to winters. Take the boat and get to the other side of the shore to witness a breathtaking panorama. However, concerns about water pollution need attention for a more enjoyable experience.
