Richmond Hiking Tours

Best way to celebrate the New Year by a guided hike on the James! Having been on several Discover Richmond food tours,
once again this company came through with flying colors. Brian was an excellent guide and despite it being a cold, cloudy day we had a great time seeing and learning lots of new things. Highly recommend anything this company offers!

First day hike! Great way to start the New Year!

Being outside on the trails along the James is a fabulous way to experience the flora and fauna of the River, get fresh air and exercise, make new friends (and even connect with old ones) and learn more about the history of Richmond. Brian was a great tour guide sharing interesting tales at stops along the tour.

Hiking the trails around Richmond are a great thing to do at any time of the year, and with Discover Richmond Tours make it fun and educational. Highly recommend whether you are new to the area or even if you lived here for years!

This hiking tour was amazing! Just the right distance and time...not too short or too long. I've lived in RVA my whole life and discovered new trails on this hike. The leader was so nice and she provided interesting info about the places we went. Will want to do this in all seasons as the views and scenery will change. Thanks!

Great hiking tour for all levels. The path was mostly smooth and an easy walk. Our tour guide was great and clearly loved leading these tours around the James. Highly recommend if you’re looking to get outside and explore the area!

Did the New Year’s Day hiking tour around some of the major hiking areas of Richmond. It was beautiful and such a great way to get aquatinted with the area and all it has to offer for future visits!
