Oude Kerk, built in the 13th century, was originally a Catholic church but became Protestant during the Reformation. It has witnessed centuries of Amsterdam's history, serving as a venue for important events and a symbol of the city's heritage. Today, it still functions as a place of worship and hosts cultural events, remaining a beloved landmark in Amsterdam.

I was unsure about this tour but the cheap price, friendly tour guide and the reviews were excellent. Travel up the oldest staircase in Europe and you arrive at one of the most amazing views. Take this tour and break up the day it’s definitely worth it!!

It is the oldest building in the city. The church is ironically located right in front of the Red Lights District! The church is beautiful, built in the Gothic style. In front of the Oude Kerk church there is a sculpture of a hand grabbing her breast. Which is really provocative
