This gallery is a hidden gem on the Upper East Side. The charming owner has curated a lovely range of 19th and 20th century paintings and created a welcoming, convivial space. I always find something delightful when I visit. The garden is an extra treat!

This is my favorite art gallery on the Upper East Side. The paintings on display are beautiful, and they represent a wide array of subject matter, artists and price points. (And be sure to ask if you are looking for something specific, as Mark has many more pictures 'behind the scenes'!) It is like visiting a small museum -- it has such a cozy, pleasant atmosphere. And be sure to check out the lovely tree-shaded backyard and patio.

Fantastic Upper East Side gallery. Mark has a terrific eye and exhibits a broad selection of 19th and 20th century European and American paintings. Opening hours can be unpredictable so call ahead!

Without a doubt one of my favorite galleries in New York for late 19th Century and early 20th century artwork. The gallery features an interesting selection ranging from Jean Léon Gérôme to Renoir, Turner and Francis Picabia.

A lovely Upper East Side gallery with an excellent collection of impressionist and orientalist works. I particularly like Mr. Murray's selection of wonderful William Russell Flint watercolors.
