It was a hot summers day during the weekend so the wife and I decided to take the kids down to the beach, we both thought we’d give Mordialloc a try as we’ve heard it’s reputation, and gosh we’re we impressed! The sand and the water feeling nice. And the pier, which is a wonderful place to take the family, with definitely no youth criminals and Maori’s doing canon balls off it. Will for sure come back!!

The water is crystal clear. Great places to eat or just sit and have a drink or 3 and watch the sun go down. Just beautiful
Sand is quite grainy but oodles of room, water is clear & on the coolish side which is refreshing. Volleyball nets & outdoor shower to wash off.
A very relaxing beach in this area with comparatively lesser crowd and has a 24 hours no dog zone.
The beach is clean, easy to get to with buses passing. Big parking area, paid and free. Just need more shadows in my opinion. Unless you bring it from home, hardly to find spot to sit down and relaxed under rocks or trees.
Mordialloc beach and the foreshore is fantastic on a warm weekend. Close to shops, food, beer and wine bars. Best place for an afternoon on a warm weekend.
