Event Cinemas Broadway

Great movie/cinema venue. Has a nice atmosphere, and has lots of great food and snack options.
Its central, its easy to get to.

Excellent cinema, has a traditional cinema theme, but very modern facilities. The screens and sound quality is good as always. The cinema seats are more on the floor, not very tiered so you need to bend your neck more to see the screen.

An extremely spacious lobby was the first thing I noticed, followed shortly by the classic cinema decor from carpet to signage ... Idk if this was a recent thing or if it's been like this for decades, maybe even both. There's a completely separate bar room from the main snacks and ticket counter, and then the bathrooms look somewhat new yet I think part of the men's was under repair plus was very dimly lit. As for the theatre, it had what I believe were decent leather seats from memory, but not stadium seating (wasn't an issue when there was nobody at our screening).

Spectacular movie! I went to see JOKER. I thought it was brilliant.. I understand.. my movie choice had nothing to do with the theater. The theater was wonderful too. Staff: helpful, friendly, smiley. Atmosphere: exciting, positive, happy. Toilets: classy, clean, great facilities. Definitely returning.

Hadn't been here for years and took my 2 year old for her first cinema experience. Went for an early mid morning session to avoid queues. Clean and tidy. Comfy chairs. It's a shame the time out aracade has been removed and found there to be too many adverts prior to the movie.

Nice venue, building etc. but the seats weren't tiered vertically - instead the screen was mounted high, so you have to tilt your head back regardless of how far back you're sitting (cinema 7). Sound was good across all frequencies although it seemed to lack spatial depth. Roomy and comfy leather seats, plenty of legroom. Fine for shorter movies i think.

This place is great, we almost always go here because it's not too busy, so you get tickets last minute. It's not a mad rush, everything is calm, the place is actually quite nice. The seats are comfy, although the screens are a bit smaller.
