The Crooked Uncle

On a self-appointed quest to perpetually find a great pound of wings, The Crooked Uncle does not disappoint. I was reluctant over the years out of fear that the wings wouldn't would live up to the hype but they most certainly do!

A pound of "Apocalypse" wings with a side of "Forget about it" 100% did the trick and was absolutely delicious! The Crooked Uncle has certainly worked it's way into the rotation.

One of the top spots in Durham if you're looking for, if not in contention as the premier spot for a pound and a pint.

Beyond 5 stars for Jodi, she is super awesome in taking care of everyone coming to Crooked uncle...for me it was a regular visit, but she ensured that everything goes well from drinks to wings...(super awesome wings)...super duper place with amazing service....star of Visit..."Jodi".

Pulled pork Sandwich and Lamb Burger were awesome also Crooked Wings. Kelly was great.

Small restaurant but for us definitely a diamond in the rough! We're not from Oshawa just happened to come across the Crooked Uncle on Google...but when I phoned to ask about food allergies I was greeted by the most lovely welcoming employee! She was able to answer our questions on the phone and we LOVED having Kelly as our waitress! It was a bit early on Saturday for us to be able to have the Prime Rib dinner but all 4 of us LOVED our food! No pics be ause we were hungry but the table was quiet, no complaints! Small, clean and friendly little spot for a great meal!

Amazing wings! The wait was a little long but that happens when a fryer goes down.

I will be going back again soon and wouldn’t think twice about recommending it. The parking lot is a little tight so be prepared for that.

The place is amazing. The staffs are extremely friendly esp Kristen. If you go there please let her know how sweet and kind she is. The wings were mind blowing.

Stopped by this place to grab some wings on special and based on the hype it had for best wings I tried to give it a shot. Unfortunately this place for wings fell really short. I felt like the many people fall in love for the “value” just basing their reviews on the value (size and price). But in terms of best wings, I think they are not..still prefer wings from no cap wings a bit pricer but better quality imo. Unfortunately these wings felt like they were too big and the chicken didn’t have the normal consistency maybe because they were too big, but to each their own. The crooked sauces for the wings was def the highlight here but unfortunately the place didn’t seem welcoming and the wings didn’t hold up to the best wings in this area. 3/5 ⭐️
