Rent Key West Vacations

Superior and extremely clean and cared-for site by great management and staff. Superbly located for everything that matters most on.an island who loves to host.

We stayed at the Watson house villa. The place is small and cramped, the pool is tiny with warped failing decking all around. We made do until the bugs started to come out, we ended up vacating the place at midnight after a cockroach was in one of the beds. The management company was dismissive and unhelpful. They denied this was ever a problem in the past, until we showed them pictures of bug traps under the furniture. Then their story changed and they claimed a few bugs were no big deal. They refused to give us a full refund. It turns our stomach to think a new group of people will be staying there in just a few days. There was a roach sighting in almost all of the rooms and kitchen, the management company denied this was an infestation and and claimed this was nothing to be worried about. They called it unfortunate. We have pictures and video that was sent directly to the management company and Airbnb.

We stayed at Bali Hideaway. Had a broken fridge but they brought another after revival efforts failed. It was a great place to stay.

We rented the duplex Casablanca in January. The property has some age on it but is well kept. The living area and bedroom look to have been updated. The kitchen and bathroom are still outdated but hopefully on the list to renovate. The pool at first seemed dirty but the bottom just needs a coat of paint. It was nice to have a pool and hot tub that we shared with our friends that rented the other side of the duplex. The property is clean and has all the amenities. I would definitely stay here again.

Elizabeth Retreat is the best place we have stayed in over a decade of visiting Key West.

After two days travelling from the UK we opened the door and entered into a beautiful oasis of calm. The decor is soothing azure and pastel. The downstairs bedroom is fabulous for anyone with mobility issues.
The lounge is cosy and comfortable.
The Kitchen is breezy and well equipped, it was a joy to put together family suppers.

The jewel in the crown is the outdoor areas. The tropical garden seating areas are larger than expected and the pool and spa are delightful. Not only an outdoor seating spot but a cosy sofa area under a lighted gazebo.

Plenty of deck space for the sun beds. The pool is sublime , warm to perfection. I tiptoed out just after dawn many days to have an early refreshing swim.

If you venture down some small steps from the deck you discover a secret garden under the palms. This little spot enjoys lighting in the evening. A perfect area to enjoy a glass of wine and a book .

Other points to mention are the excellent laundry house by the pool and charming seahorse outdoor shower.

The company address any issues or queries with a couple of hours and are a delightful bunch to get to know.
The location is perfect, just a few blocks from Duval and close to Faustos supermarket. Directly across the road is the library and we joined as we were there for a month. They also have a good supply of free
magazines. The bus stop is at the corner next to the library. Many restaurants are within easy reach also.

Please don’t book it too much because I need to return. But you won’t be disappointed

Rent Key West offered several choices of where to stay and we chose The Key West Beach Club. KWV keep us informed about what was going on in the area and communicated very well on what to expect at the condo. We received excellent communications on when and where to meet to get the keys and check-in. We were very pleased with our stay and KWV. Paul & Jann did a splendid job.

This was our 3rd stay with RKW and each stay has been wonderful. Beautiful properties, friendly, helpful staff, easy check in/out, great locations, all allow for a more relaxing vacation. They’ve become our #1 pick when staying in Key West. 🙂.

We love KW and always stay on/right off Duval so we can park the car and then just head out - no worries of parking or drinking and driving! This latest trip had us coming down with family so needed a larger place so we started our "google" search for houses/condos/multi-bedroom places to rent for the 6 night stay. Found Rent Key West and in particular Jann Knapp and the rest was, as they say now, super simple. Although we know KW like the back of our hand, we don't know all the properties and when you drive or fly in, the last thing you want is a surprise. Loved that we found Jann and RKWV as they are your eyes and experiences right in the neighborhood. Turn this part of your vacation into a non-issue and let them handle it all for you. Do your "google" but then call and talk to them to let them find the perfect duval destination!
