Terri and her team are amazing! From the beginning, Terri was so helpful by providing information that was extremely useful with the process of providing caregivers for my Mom. She is a professional and a great source of information, from how to deal with the insurance company, to finding a good match for caregivers. Terri is very easy to work with, and works hard to accommodate scheduling and placement for her caregivers. Terri responds to emails and messages very quickly.

I can't say enough about the two caregivers that are currently with my Mom. Vivian and Marjorie are reliable, professional, caring, engaging, kind, and overall just AWESOME! They are with my Mom for long hours and they are always so upbeat and positive. They both treat my mother with the utmost respect. They work extremely well with the Hospice team and I get compliments all the time from Hospice in regards to the care they give my Mom. My Mom is so well taken care of by these two angels, I couldn't ask for more!

Help at Home is a truly professional organization staffed by profession health care personnel who maintain certifications in health care. Unlike other organizations, with complicated telephone answering services and hard to get a hold of representatives who call back hours later. Help at Home when you call, you get the president of the organization Terri Rabkin. You have an office number and her direct cell-phone number. She always gets back to you and answers question and resolves issue in a timely manner. Ms. Rabkin is a true professional in her business.
I have had the same health professionals in my home for over a year, 15 hours a day seven days a week. They have stayed in my home when I was required to travel for a week and long weekends with no issues handling any situation which arose. They have become part of our family. This is not just a job to them it’s a calling. The loving care and attentiveness they gave my wife was remarkable. A shout out goes to those two health aide professionals Clare Hopkins and Jennifer Lewis, who were both with me for over a year they are caring, loving, professional, and honest. There were other health Aide professions who filled in occasionally they also were very caring and professional. Terri staffs her organization with top quality people who she personally analyzes and fits into your needs. If could give more than the maximum rating to Help at home I certainly would.

Help at Home cared for my husband for five years. Following a heart block and stroke, my husband was dependent on care. The caregivers worked night shift so I could get some rest. They kept him clean, dressed him and assisted him in and out of bed into his wheelchair. Their care was the only reason I was able to keep him out of nursing home. My husband just passed away and I’m so thankful those years were in the comfort of his home. I was truly blessed.

Help At Home has been an amazing resource for my mom. We started with a short-term arrangement for help after she had knee surgery in 2012, and then a few years later scheduled a half-day visit per week to take her to do grocery shopping and other errands after she stopped driving, and provide a bit of companionship. More recently my mom has needed 24/7 care. At each stage, Help At Home's proprietor Terri has been thoughtful and attentive in matching my mom with capable and compassionate caregivers. Terri and her staff have been extremely flexible and have maintained open communication with my siblings and me, which has been incredibly valuable since none of us live nearby. I heartily recommend Help At Home to anyone needing care for a loved one. They're top notch.

Terri and the wonderful women who work for her made my mother's last years so much better. They were attentive and careful. They made sure that every appointment -- from doctor to beauty parlor -- was taken care of as well as cooking for, keeping her beautifully dressed and made up and maintaining her dignity at all times. Teri was always available if there was a particular need. Help at Home also cared for my aunt with the same wonderful attention. To say the least, highly recommend.

I engaged Help At Home to take care of my wife for almost ten years, until her recent passing, while she was in Arden Courts of Potomac. During this period my wife was wonderfully cared for by one caregiver with periodic weekend substitutes. I give Help At Home the highest praise for the professional manner in which they cared for my wife.
