I went to the mosque for the first time, or to be exact, my very first visit to a mosque. Organised by a photography group and went to take photos.
As you go in, you can see a beautiful blue carpet where you take shoes off and the stairs. In the main room, you see gorgeous decorations and paintings amongst the blue, creating a calming space.
It used to be a cinema and Turkish Islamic Association turned this place into this gorgeous mosque.
Everyone is welcome and there are scarves that they can use if you don’t have one. I took mine with me and used it.
There is a washing place where you wash hands and face in a toilet before praying. Then take your shoes off and men go to the main room and women go to the upper balcony where you can see the main room from above.
It’s a very nice place to do self-reflection and say prayers.

I went to Azizia Mosque to pray Isha and Tarawih prayers, and I must say, what a beautiful interior and a beautiful mosque overall. The muezzin and the Imam have such beautiful voices, and I absolutely love the environment there. They offer 20 Tarawih prayers, which I find wonderful. Additionally, the separate section for females is truly fantastic; it provides so much ease for women like me who prefer congregational prayers over praying at home, which can be less motivating. The facilities are very well-kept and clean. Thank you so much for maintaining such a fantastic mosque.

This is a really nice and antique mosque. There is residential parking facilities available on nearby roads. The mosque has really nice abulution facilities. There is plenty of space in the mosque for prayer. The people in the mosque are really friendly.

Very beautiful mosque in London, depicting Turkish style architecture. Situated above Aziziye restaurant, a great spot to eat

Beautiful Mosjid on Kingsland Road in Hackney, love the decorations, clean wudu area and shoes rack area is tidy.

Mashallah a very beautiful Masjid. For London it is quite big and has a decent amount of space. Can only imagine it to get very packed during Jummah and Tarawih.
The Azizye Restaurant is a bonus!

You arrive at the front of the Masjid where you find the Aziziye restaurant and then you go to the Southern side of the Masjid Building and through an open gateway and you then come about halfway down the building to an entrance on your right.
You go through the through the entrance and you then turn left and at that point you need to have removed your shoes. Also in that entrance area you have the ladies wudu entrance.
After the shoe removal area you then find on your right the entrance to the wudu area for gentlemen which has a few sinks and about six or eight toilet cubicles. The toilet cubicles have both squat toilets and seated toilets. The toilet cubicles are spacious.
Past the wudu area there is a door where through which you can see part of the education area for children. Near that door there is a staircase on your right and up the stairs you come to the male prayer hall which also has some books. The prayer hall is spacious, the carpet is a nice relaxing light blue colour. The people are very prayerful.
The ceiling has beautiful stained glass type windows, there is a smart digital prayer time display and in the gallery above is the ladies prayer hall.
Afterwards going down the staircase again, you can see the education centre for children full of children, 5-year olds, 11-year olds, some sitting at tables doing some work, some playing football, a bearded gentleman and some ladies looking after them.
Going back to the Aziziye restaurant there were kebabs on offer for around £10-£11 and some wraps for around £8.
