We was booked to go to Newmarket Racecourse for the day and could not find a hotel or bed and breakfast anywhere then we come across this place.
I am so glad we did not find a hotel or B&B as this place is a hidden gem.
Loads of parking space and all set in a very quite and peaceful setting just a taxi journey away from the Racecourse.
We was greeted by the lovely owner who showed us around and took us to our lodge which was called Primrose.
The lodge was almost brand new and very well built and equipped the furniture was all new and modern and very comfortable.
We was left some lovely cakes and essentials by the owner to start us off for a 2 night stay.
The beds are really comfortable and the quilts and pillows are all new which meant we had a great night's sleep.
The lodge has a private garden looking out onto a paddock which has horses in a very peaceful and quiet location.
These Lodges are great value for the money and I would highly recommend a stay, let's put it this way I won't bother to look for a hotel or B&B next time.
See you again.

We stayed at this very clean and tidy place during our two week stay in the area visiting our son and his family. The place is similar to a Scandinavian style interior. Complete kitchen area and two bedrooms. Our host, Hazel was very friendly and checked in to see if we required anything. The lodges are situated next to a field with several horses are very friendly. We highly recommend staying here and look forward to staying here again on future visits to see our family.

This place is the perfect city getaway and only 1h 30mins from London. The accomodation is new and modern with the main room being massive the kids can run around without being under your feet. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms clean with the option of showers and baths (for younger ones). Nearby there are a number of places to go for sightseeing and have plenty of food options (including halal in Newbury, Bury St Edmunds, and Cambridge).

Absolutely splendid! Probably the comfortable stay and beds away from home I've had and as a contractor working away most weeks, that is an accolade to be proud of!

Fully kitted kitchen is a bonus and lovely complementary cakes, eggs, butter and milk, above and beyond anywhere else, well done!

Excellent accommodation. We really appreciated Hazel's hospitality and the lodge was absolutely beautiful, extremely clean and well furnished. We will be back! Thanks, Rachel & Co (Nomad Wine)
