A bit expensive for three people to visit (£24,) but well worth it and very interesting to see. It could’ve done with more signage to understand which direction you were supposed to be going in though. We went during a cold winter week in a school term so it wasn’t busy and there was no wait time, not sure how different it would be on weekends or school holidays though. If you go during winter season I’d recommend wearing something warm and wearing suitable shoes that you don’t mind getting mucky, as it can be very muddy in places.

What can I say about Combermere Abbey!
Thank you thank you thank you for making our wedding day so special. The venue was amazing, the service was amazing, the food was amazing and the surrounding were, you’ve guessed it, amazing!
We really could not have asked for anywhere better to hold our wedding! Thank you so very much to everyone to helped make our special day unforgettable!

A good open space to spend the day amongst the ruins of a Norman castle.
Entry will set you back £8 for adults. I think a family ticket for two adults and two children under 16 is about £21.

Beautiful little town with very friendly people. The castle is amazing and so are all the fantastically preserved old buildings. A place definitely worth a visit x

Always camped at maker heights before and this site I prefer. I didnt realize they did camping here. Campers are at the top away from everyone else, but near the facilities. Views amazing. Calm and peaceful. Sat in the bar all evening as it was pitch dark ( mid October camping) Had great meal and lovely breakfast. They are open all year and I will definitely return to camp during the autumn and spring.
A very nicely laid out campsite. With a selection of seasonal and touring vans plus fishing lakes. Really friendly staff, well worth a visit.
We booked for a midweek break of two nights in the North wing with breakfast included. What a wonderful experience all round. The views are Beautiful and serene, the bedroom luxurious and overlooking the mere.Breakfast is a pure delight and the service second to none.I can’t recommend this venue enough.
Nice clean site with nice shower and toilet facilities. Have to pay extra per dpg and £1 per shower which soon adds up for a family when alot of sites are free. Easy walk to Downham Market. Also have to pay for electricity used on top of pitch fees. The cafe/ pubs in the village are mostly open only at weekends.
Unfortunately we only stopped one night as we had other commitments. But what a fantastic site, beautiful, clean, friendly, great spot for fishing, golf, walking. A nice steady flat walk in to town center. This site caters for all young and old.

The most amazing wedding venue. We fell in love a few years ago and it was always going to be the place we got married. The gardens, glass house, pavilion, walls, cottages, mere, north wing absolutely everything was immaculate, clean and simply beautiful. All of the members of staff were friendly and professional and engaged in casual conversation too. The service was world class and the food was the best meal we have ever had. The north wing is the nicest place we have ever stayed in and well kept and maintained. Thank you all so much for looking after us on our day, we have not stopped talking about our wedding day and neither have our guests. It was a dream come true. We shall be back to visit again!

Nice overnight stay in one of the lodges. Very comfortable bed - best I've slept in for a long time - and good shower/ toilet room. Breakfast at the Fort good too! Basically, as good, if not better, than a lot of hotels I've stayed. Only problem in location was wasn't facing the sea and a quite a distance down long, winding, one tract road!

Good touring site, not as luxurious as described on website. Decent, if sparing facilities, great views over whitsand bay, intriguing location in the middle of an old fort.
We are on the site at the moment it's beautiful we are right in front of one of the lakes
Lot's of ducks as well 🥰🥰🥰

We were here for a wedding. Fabulous place, stunning scenery
Caravan site lovely, fishing good, toilets cld do with a face lift, and a good clean, from what I cld make out, lady's only had three cubicles for a big campsite, £1.00 for 4 minute shower, n no way of cleaning them for the next person, if I'm honest, didn't really take to the older lady in the shop, found her rather abrupt and not very friendly, at the end of the day we still enjoyed our self

Ludlow Castle is a worth a visit. Step back in history and explore the ruins.

Tickets for adults is £8 each, but well worth it.

It sits atop a hill so you get some great views if you venture up some of the very small stairs.

Otherwise great place for kids and adults alike.

Lots of places nearby for food and drinks as well as in the grounds

Impressive castle and lots of hidden corridors and rooms to explore. Great if you got a dog in tow as they are welcome which is not normally the case. Visit the gift shop first if you have kids (or not) then carry your sword and shield with you as you defend the castle 😁 well worth a visit and to learn about the local history 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Stayed in the North Wing Salamanca suite for our engagement and all I can say is wow!! Fantastic location, amazing place and staff from start to finish were so helpful - but have to give a special mention to Stephan who was just fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, he sorted a taxi within minutes when I’d been trying for a week with no luck. He’s also a fantastic cook and a friendly and gracious host! Can’t recommend this enough and considering what we paid you will not get the same level of luxury or service anywhere else! Will 100% be back and already looking at the wedding packages. Just out of this world!
£1 for 5 mins shower.. would be better if it was already included in the price. Same for electricity

Beautiful grounds that were well maintained!! My daughter loved exploring and running round on the grass inside the castle walls. Only downside was the amount of dog mess that lazy owners had left on the grass inside the castle walls. Definitely will be back again one day

Absolutely loved my experience here. Definitely my favourite castle I've been to. Highly recommend anyone who loves castles and history to visit here. So much to see and the admission was only £8.
So so beautiful
Amazing relaxing site with a family ethos set by Michelle and Andy. Feels like coming home each time we visit. Great pitches, clean toilets and showers. Kids park fairy wood and Fishing fab. What more can you ask for. Thank you Michelle and Andy, even though you both are run off your feet at times, you still find the time to check everyone is OK and settled in. My Grandson was sobbing because he wouldn't see Michelle again for a while.

Beautiful castle! went into every bit of the castle we possibly could! lovely staff, easy to find at the top of the town (which is also stunning) Good gift shop on exit. We went whilst pigeons were nesting which was cute to see. Take care on the stair cases as they are rather narrow.

We was booked to go to Newmarket Racecourse for the day and could not find a hotel or bed and breakfast anywhere then we come across this place.
I am so glad we did not find a hotel or B&B as this place is a hidden gem.
Loads of parking space and all set in a very quite and peaceful setting just a taxi journey away from the Racecourse.
We was greeted by the lovely owner who showed us around and took us to our lodge which was called Primrose.
The lodge was almost brand new and very well built and equipped the furniture was all new and modern and very comfortable.
We was left some lovely cakes and essentials by the owner to start us off for a 2 night stay.
The beds are really comfortable and the quilts and pillows are all new which meant we had a great night's sleep.
The lodge has a private garden looking out onto a paddock which has horses in a very peaceful and quiet location.
These Lodges are great value for the money and I would highly recommend a stay, let's put it this way I won't bother to look for a hotel or B&B next time.
See you again.
Just visited this caravn site for a weekend,it is a lovely site, very well maintained, the wardens were very approachable and friendly,we will be visiting this site on a regular basis can not fault it, reasonably price and lots of fishing lakes to walk around.

Thankyou lakeside, jane and malc 👍
Great little spot for families to enjoy the seaside, stayed in our own caravan on a pitch so couldn't comment on the rooms.
Fab staff and facilties, lovely and clean toilet/shower area.
The swimming pool is fab! Had some trouble with getting into the place as had to go to reception for a ticket but after that the kids thoroughly enjoyed !
10/10 we will be back again :)

Stunning location with great views over the cliff. The resort overall is nice tidy and the staff is friendly.
Maintenance comes every morning to check the hot tub.
There is a indoor swimming pool that is great for kids.
A part for their on site restaurant which needs some attention in terms of service all the rest is great.
We will be back.
Camped here 2 nights with my partner. Awesome place located on top of the cliff, that you have to walk down to reach the beach in 10 minutes. The owner and the staff are extremely kind, and he services are spot on! We will definitely be back!

We stayed at this very clean and tidy place during our two week stay in the area visiting our son and his family. The place is similar to a Scandinavian style interior. Complete kitchen area and two bedrooms. Our host, Hazel was very friendly and checked in to see if we required anything. The lodges are situated next to a field with several horses are very friendly. We highly recommend staying here and look forward to staying here again on future visits to see our family.

Arrived with out a booking looking to camp and take shelter from the bad weather, went to reception and was greeted with a smile. Was found a great pitch at a good price and told all about the facilities and where everything was located. When I pitched up the weather was misty but in the morning it was a lot brighter and the views are amazing form this site. There is a pool and bar and cafe lots on offer a hidden gem of a place to visit.

Combermere Abbey was the wedding perfect venue for us as a couple. We were searching for somewhere that felt private and secluded, but was an open space which brought the outside into the ceremony itself. We married outside in the centre of the fruit maze in a rare spot of brilliant April sunshine, and the backdrop to our wedding was perfect. The staff were extremely attentive, particularly as ours was the first wedding following recent renovations, and this ensured that the day ran extremely smoothly. Amy was on hand for us throughout the day to make sure that we had everything that we needed, and, critically, that we got chance to have some canapes, some drinks, and some much-needed time by ourselves to celebrate becoming Mr & Mrs. We have had lots of our guests comment that they had never been to a wedding quite like ours, and it was made all the more special by having it at such a unique and beautiful wedding venue. We would recommend Combermere Abbey to all engaged couples as a fantastic venue.
We stayed over Easter Weekend at the Aldersyde property and it was perfect. Lovely, well equipped house with quiet, enclosed garden (great for the dog!). Perfectly located a 10 minute walk from Conwy centre. Would highly recommend anyone to stay there.

This place is the perfect city getaway and only 1h 30mins from London. The accomodation is new and modern with the main room being massive the kids can run around without being under your feet. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms clean with the option of showers and baths (for younger ones). Nearby there are a number of places to go for sightseeing and have plenty of food options (including halal in Newbury, Bury St Edmunds, and Cambridge).

Absolutely splendid! Probably the comfortable stay and beds away from home I've had and as a contractor working away most weeks, that is an accolade to be proud of!

Fully kitted kitchen is a bonus and lovely complementary cakes, eggs, butter and milk, above and beyond anywhere else, well done!
Beautiful place to stay, every facility you need, close to abbey gardens and the town centre.

We stayed in Stone Lodge and this was beautifully presented and well equipped accommodation at the entrance to the estate. It was dog friendly with a secure garden and access to some lovely walks on the estate - one walk even accessing the nearby Old Piggery dog friendly cafe. A wonderful welcome hamper was also provided with lovely local produce. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here.
Booked through Airbnb for a 5 night stay. We had a great time, the house was immaculate, comfortable and very convenient for exploring Conwy and the surrounding area. Laura was always very quick to get back to us with our queries. Thank you!

Simply superb.
Booked in confidence and paid deposit a year ago for 8 of us to stay here again. Had a call a couple of weeks ago to say that they had double booked but yet had no record of our booking. Seemed very strange considering there was an email conversation had at the time of booking the cottage last year. Ruined 8 peoples holiday and are looking at over an extra £1000 if we all still want to go away elsewhere. Very bad business practice. Will not be returning or using this company again. Would strongly advise people not to stay here or you may risk your holiday been cancelled 6 weeks prior.
Brilliant location for the centre of Bury with a short walk to the Abbey gardens and town centre. Lovely accommodation (small but perfectly formed). Will look to stay again given the facilities ( kitchen, lounge, bedroom, bathroom) all for a good price.

Booked a reservation for 1 night and the place cancelled our booking a month before. When contacted we never got through to an agent and only the support service who said the same things each time and never heard back from them about the cancellation. Disgusting service and if you book here you cannot be confident that you will have a place to stay because they might cancel beforehand. We had to spend double on a different accommodation due to this. Dont waste your time.
Location great, free parking & wifi. Nice old building, plenty of crockery/ cutlery etc. But only 1 toilet roll for 3 people for a weekend and kettle disgustingly full of limescale, stain previously mentioned on earlier review on sofa still there, single beds could do with a mattress topper. These things sadly marred all the good points.
Excellent accommodation. We really appreciated Hazel's hospitality and the lodge was absolutely beautiful, extremely clean and well furnished. We will be back! Thanks, Rachel & Co (Nomad Wine)
It was dirty food left in the grill pan and cold as heating was shut off all night till 5.30 am bedroom window was broken and had a 2 inc gap in it .
من اجمل الشقق في لندن غرف كبير مطبخ مجهز وكبير استقبال رائع من الموظفة آنكا متساعده معنا في كل شي المشكلة الوحيدة تنظيف الشقة مره واحدة في الاسبوع فقط
Fantastic location, great house with interesting features but if you intend to stay for a bit longer make sure you stock up on toilet paper, oven gloves and some cooking utensils as what’s provided is just a bare minimum
Whilst the apartment is very good, we couldn't select the location on booking. We are a family with a 2 year old toddler, yet we were put in an apartment above a noisy bar that is open til 2am. Would not recommend for this reason.
Most relaxing place in london. Would definitely recommend.
This property is refusing to refund my stay from May 9th despite the UK imposing a quarantine period from any overseas visitors (I would be visiting from Australia)

Tripadvisor and expedia are also showing the hotel is closed until 1st July. As they are unable to provide the dates I paid for I should be getting a 100% refund.

Beautiful building and garden
Home from home facilities for own cooking
Had a great stay in the Centro apartments, the team at City Stay were very helpful! The apartment itself was tidy and clean, it also had everything I needed for my stay. A real bonus was the mood lighting in the living area! I will definitely be booking again
Lovely place to stay. Almost everything we needed for 8 people. Very clean inside and grounds are well kept. It has Wi-Fi, but couldn't get onto internet. Microwave oven could have been a little bigger. All in all, a lovely stay.
Great little apartment for our stay in Milton Keynes. The rooms were a good size and had everything we could need for the weekend. The balcony was a nice touch, but the sun was so bright we couldn't sit out for long as we couldn't see our screen! (Not a fault of the room, of course!) The oven was a bit confusing, and as there wasn't a manual we had to Google how to use it to actually cook, but other than that, everything was easy to use. The Wi-Fi was pretty poor though, and we resorted to using our mobile coverage rather than using it in the end.
Serviced apartments near Hyde Park. Studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom flats are available. Staff is very friendly and will try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Building is approx 10 minutes walk to South Kensington tube station and also Gloucester Road station. Royal Albert Hall is a short walk away. Plenty of restaurants and shops are about 10 minutes walk from the building.
For me it was nice. Good view and great people for hoisting. However, who clean an out apartment they not cleaning well spatially toilets. Also, we can hear people above us. but in end the apartment her was so nice n homie
الفندق غير جيد لا توجد عوازل صوت نسمع الشقه الي في الادوار العلوية المصعد يكفي شخص واحد لا يوجد شمبوو وصابون لا يرقا لفندق هو فقط شقق مفروشه

Work sent us to MK for 10 weeks and we were placed into an apartment in The Hub through City Stay.We had an awful stay and end ended up terminating our rental with City Stay after 8 days; we ended up going with another rival company for the duration of our 10 weeks. The apartment we got was better quality, and 20% cheaper!
During our stay we raised several issues but nothing was done to address these, and there was no show of empathy at all. The Hub is badly run down and poorly maintained; lifts are dirty and creaky and give you the feeling that you may get stuck, and had we been on a lower floor I would have used the stairs, although people are knows to be injecting drugs in the stairwells. The car park is also daggy and dark and badly maintained.
The apartment had no extraction, not even in the bathrooms, walls were badly marked, the carpets need to be cleaned professionally, the oven seal was missing and thus unusable, the vertical blinds were missing some panels/ broken including the bedroom were you could not block out the street light. The washing machine was covered in mould. The sofas had marks on them and there was writing on the coffee table. The toilet seat was disgusting and needs to be replaced.
Surely someone from City Stay comes and checks these places from time to time to pick up things that the cleaners miss? Poor management, and poor maintenance.

Lovely apartment with beautiful views. Ideal location, just minutes from clubs, cinema, bowling, shopping centre & train station and the Sainsbury's in on your doorstep.
Only downside is it isn't ideal for young children unless you watch them like a hawk or bring your own covers for sockets. Will definitely be staying again.
Stayed there for a night but it was alright. The location is definitely a major plus. No issues, but I liked the fact the building was old, as are most in this part, but there was nothing negative in our experience relevant to that.
I flew in from the United States on a business trip and stayed with City Stay for a total of three weeks. The apartment staff was very friendly and even helped me extend my stay on a short notice for another week. The apartments are well maintained, clean, quiet, and located in the hub. They are located right above/next to a grocery store, and walking distance to many restaurants, the train station, malls and gyms. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone and I would absolutely stay there again.

I have been staying at the Vizion apartments for the last 2 years and have used a number of the agencies but have found City Stay to be by far the best and most professional . From dealing with my enquires to the standard of accommodation , they are always the company I would recommend and the first one I will contact. They provide friendly and efficient service with competitve pricing . For me their apartments provide a better quality of furnishings and facilities than their competitors , are always very clean and tidy and if you have any issues during your stay , they are always on hand to resolve quickly . I look forward to continuing to stay in Milton Keynes and using City Stay are my preferred company
