Rooms barricaded, but views were exciting
I too took the hard road to McCook. Kinda spooky since this part of the park is off limits. So Stay Out ya here!
Very hard to see anything due to overgrowth and lack of maintenance, but if you love history and are familiar with artillery throughout the last hundred or so years you will enjoy the visit!
