Quirky and atmospheric, great acoustics which is ideal for the brilliant music presented on a regular basis.

A really friendly and personal feeling arts centre putting on interesting music events. We came from out of town and were made to feel very welcome. They have a nice selection of beverages and a beautiful space.

Not often I give five stars but yep, an excellent venue. Have seen poetry and music there. Seating is comfy, and if you get there early enough there's even a couple of sofas. The acoustics are good, staff are friendly and mostly volunteers. The bar has limited, but alcohol is available and you can make your own cuppa. Parking nearby is good, and free after 6pm, and the events are varied and the website is regularly updated. Very definitely worth a visit.

Went to a Shindig last night blended with a Burns night.
Loved the venue, great building, reasonable prices and even better community of volunteers.
Could do with a bit of updating in the facilities? Not really, it is part of the charm
