Was a wonderful experience at Calicut notebook Al Barsha . Having visited their branch in Abu Dhabi,I expected similar service and flavours. I couldn't have been more wrong. Service was exemplary with Akshay providing excellent suggestions and prompt service. The Pazhassi salad was unique and a great complementary starter with a myriad of flavours from the chilly,ginger, peanut,coconut and jaggery paste wrapped in a leaf. For starters we relished the Fish Elayayil Tawa and Kanthari fish both of which were flavourful and gratifying. No visit to a Keralite restaurant is complete without trying the quintessential beef fry and it did not fail to meet our expectations.Fluffy Porottas , soft appam ,Alleppey chicken curry and Chicken stew were next on the order and are certainly mentionworthy. Certainly deserves another visit.
