Absolutely one of the best meals I had during a 3 week tour of 6 countries, and an unbelievable experience especially for the price. During the meal we kept remarking that this should be a Michelin-star rated restaurant because the food was so incredible, and were amazed when at the end the bill was only $28 (USD) each between two people. That was for the pate as an appetizer, splitting two traditional dishes, plus a dessert, two beers, and two Cokes. Simply amazing and a must if you are in Prague.

Yesterday we had the best experience in Prague!!!
After 3 days eating "the same" in all the restaurants, we were fortunate to discover the Czech Slovak Restaurant and the surprise was huge!!!!!
The food and the service is extraordinary (we have eaten much better than in some Michelin star restaurants that we have tried...). The food is excellent, km0 and cooked with love and intense and surprising flavors!!!!
We ate a Tartar steak that we will never forget!!! In addition, we taste excellent wines from the region that they know how to promote and value with love and respect for their culture.
And, best of all, it is a business run with the love of the family (brothers and cousins working as a team) and three different venues with tickets for all audiences.
100% recommended and essential !!!!
Many thanks family!!!!

Great place with amazing food with a twist. Not just brutal Czech cuisine (still being nice though:-). And not pure high cuisine. Something in between, very tasty and very friendly staff.
Kraft schnapps is highly recommended!
For evenings having reservation is a must.

My personal favorite restaurant in Prague. Everything they prepare is a piece of art. Their drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, are amazing (everyone must try their lemonades).

Food, all three appetizers, entrees and desserts, are gorgeously plated. The combination of flavors and textures is simply fantastic. Finally, they have their own beers and pear liquor.

This is the type of place you bring people to impress.

This restaurant is just great. We came here in a group of five and expected a "normal" restaurant. We were surprised of the fancyness, as it doesn't look like it from the outside.

The service is OUTSTANDING. We reserved a table and when we were there, the table wasn't ready yet. We could wait on a couch and we even received an aperetif on the house.

The six course menu was great and really tasty. I can recommend the menu with vine, because in every course you can try from two bottles and then choose which you want.

To all the vines and courses we received information about the heritage, fun facts etc.

If you can afford it, definitely a must-go!

Reserved this restaurant for a very long time because of the attractive photos. Warm services with detailed introduction about the dishes.
4 course menu is really enough for us as we are not that Hungary today and two of us are kids within 90 minutes, finally we still overrun until 8:30. Clever for the restaurant to have a sofa for customer who arrived on time while waiting for the table. Both starters are not I quite like so better don’t comment. Goose soup is a bit too salty for me. Mushroom soup is great with potatoes in it. Main course we choose something more regular like pork and chicken only instead of rabbit, deer and goose. The pork is out of my imagination that can do something like that. Is that a real traditional Czech style? Or a fusion one. Not quite so sure. I prefer the pork instead of chicken, chicken one tastes no special for me.
What surprise me is desert ‘the apple pie’ not the very unhealthy super sweet style,it’s the best tonight. But what’s the most important for a fine dinning is better without kids under 10.
One more thing is for beer 🍺, they will bring you some to try before you choose, that’s really generous and well service. I appreciate that a lot.

Very good traditional Goulash with deer and boar. Also a good local wine. The home made ice tea is nice (not so sweet). Only the goat salat as appetizer would get a 5-star but overall the service and food I enjoyed. Recommend this place. Pricing: 10-16€ for lunch (only the food)
