Essen gut, deutsche Preise.
The
craft Beer Spot ABSOLUTELY deserves its insanely high 4.8 rating with over 1000 reviews. The food is DELICIOUS!!! I ordered the Porchetta Stuffed pork roulade and it was amazing. My wife took the Goat cheese salad. Also fantastic.

Sud sehr lecker :) Preise angemessen. Danke für den schönen Abend
Hidden behind main street, not crowded. Very big portions, enormous. Excellent goulash with dumplings, great meat and bread. Friendly and polite staff. We found the best goulash from several places here.
Popped in for some lunch with our six year old. Service was fantastic, staff were so friendly. We had a beer sampler to share and we both had the hot dog (plus one kids hot dog). Easily the best hot dog we've ever had. All the beers were excellent too. Excellent value for money too.
Very cozy and relaxed beer garden, with 10 beers on tap which changes very often, from local brewery in Prague and Czech republic, with some European additions.
Beer sampler option (5 beers to taste out fo ten) at a reasonable price.
Tasty food, polite service, nice atmosphere.
A place to visit

Average experience. Food is ok. Service is so-so. Was asked for tip in the end, quite direct.
Cozy spot with excellent beers and really good food. They have a variety of really interesting and flavourful beers. The food is really good, especially the hotdog dish.
Good food and served fast, breakfasts all day long.

Meine Lieblingskneipe in der Altstadt! Faire Preise, freundliche Bedienung, kein schikiemickie hier. Einfach nur lecker Bier 🍻
The staff were friendly, however maybe I don't know how to eat at Czech restaurant but I didn't like the food. The service was nice. I have never paid 20 eur for this food. I do not recommend. I gave 3 stars juts for the staff
I found the best burger in Prague. Blue cheese burger is amazing 😍 so juicy and tender meat, perfect balance of tastes. Also the best nachos are served also here! I'm here not the first time and they're always the same. I hope to taste THE SAME burger soon here.

The beer cart is pretty large and impressive. Of course you should prefer draught beer and the menu can vary from day to day. Casteel Rouge - is another Belgian love.

The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is welcoming. One of the best places I have visited in Prague with the best beer offering and surprisingly good food.

Found this place by looking for craft beers whilst on a weekend in Prague and it was everything we had hoped for and more! They have tasting beer menus, the choice is amazing and the staff is knowledgeable and attentive. A massive bonus is their gorgeous food, we had a selection of marinated cheeses that turned a casual stop for drinks into perfection!

Our favourite pub in Prague. Affordable food, quick service, would recommend if you want to avoid tourist traps and eat authentic Czech cuisine. We returned 3 days in a row, as it was a walkable distance from the castle and Charles bridge, yet not gimicky. The decor was tasteful and the restaurant was clean.
The waiter was extremely nice. Such a lovely atmosphere!

I was surprised to find a restaurant at noon, near Charles Bridge , empty.
There were 5/6 young waiters . Price on menu was affordable.

No one told there was a 10% service charge and i paid it TWICE!
I saw it neither on the menu, nor anywhere else.
As I was paying, the lady mentioned a service charge
35 euro for 150 gr of gulasch , a beer and a coffe !!!
Welcome to Prague , capital of Switzerland ah ah ah

I was looking for a Czech restaurant. This place disappointed me greatly. Felt like I scared myself and was scared at the same time. This place is lonely. Felt like a ghost town honestly. Starting with the waiter, he wasn't friendly at all, he felt fed up talking to me. Then there came the darkness of the place too which made it more grim. When you enter this place, it's like you are back in the medical days. Nothing has changed at all. Nonetheless, this brings me to the food. I should have ran out the moment I saw self-service shelves like those in sub-way. I asked the man if they use the microwave, he said yes and some other words. I took it as though he didn't understand what I meant.
They warm the food in this restaurant. Whoever goes to this place, they will warm your food. They won't cook it. My chicken bone was warmed up. How I know this is that it was crispy like it was burned. I couldn't eat the food. Everything felt like a scam and unhealthy, unoriginal and unbothered.

Soup was oversalted.
Pancakes were so hard so I wasn’t able too cut them with knife. Don’t know how they make them.
Cozy small tap house to enjoy craft Czech beers and delicious food. They regularly update the beer choices based on availability. We decided to have a degustation to try more Kinds. The potatoes were AMAZING, so soft and tasty, good to pair as a side dish with the beer. I really loved them and the mayo was the best. The best part was the Apple strudel. The service was good and everyone was nice and friendly.

Attention - tourist trap! The prices are very high compared to the quality and quantity of the food, and the menu has no variety. The waiters pretended to be very friendly during the service, which then backfired. The waiter insisted on leaving 15% tip, which we basically had to agree to.
After all, if you want to pay with card, you have to pay before seeing the bill (which I doubt is legal). In our case, things were added to the bill which we did not order, but sadly we had paid already and were not given the chance to discuss it with the waiters.
You should not be wasting your money here!

A good modern Czech meal. I wish there was more bacon in the gnocchi and the fried onion was a bit more crunchy. The seasoning was great, but it’s just insufficient meat and condiments that were not cooked well that we couldn’t finish this one. The baked other dish with the baked sirloin was very good though.
The pumpkin soup was divine! And the homemade bread is so delicious. Sitting on the patio on a lovely fall day was so beautiful. We highly recommend.

This restaurant is amazing when it comes to the Czech cuisine. My friend and I ordered the fried cheese and we couldn't finish the plate. It was enough for an entire meal, friendly service, very helpful. We had a great experience and we will definitely visit again the next time that we are in Prague!

Eine schöne Kneipe, wie früher. Kein Touri-Schickimicki.

Thank you very much to the waiter who took care of us, we had a perfect night thanks to him. We loved his advice and his high energy. I had mushroom risotto and my husband had salmon. The food was delicious and we tried the Czech wine which was also delicious. Finally, we ended the night with a dessert with flower ice cream. The dessert was light and delicious. The view was spectacular, everything was of high quality and effort. Thank you very much.
Amazing food! Duck was moist and dumplings just like my moms ❤️
Wonderful waiter and waitress 🥰
Will be back!
The food was the best this is probably my favorite high end restaurant the views are the best there is no other place with the view. The Japanese Wagyu melted in your mouth. The pasta truffle was so good and the dessert was the best with mango dragon fruit and cream with a French sweet biscuit.
One perfect evening in Prague. The place was full booked for private event, we begged to have a table and they let us in because we came from far far away 😂. Thank youuu… food and service was excellent.
We sat at a table that was free, there were two free tables at the restaurant. The other table got occupied two minutes later. 10 minutes later one of the servers arrived and put a reserve sign at the table telling us to just leave. Then he started serving the people that came after us. Super rude personal. He even sent another person to tell us to leave. After I told them they were rude they just ignored me. Try another restaurant it’s not worth it.

Great experience!
This restaurant was really good!
The dishes were very delicious and nicely served!
The service was great! Waiters were really helpful and friendly!
The prices were fair for such a restaurant and food quality.
I recommend it!
Really lovely spot. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The Tiramisu was heavenly, and the beer they serve is great, and all at a very reasonable price. Roughly 2.50 for 500ml of beer.
Dear all, we stopped by for the coffee and after our visitation I cannot recommend this restaurant. It started when we were waiting for the waiter. He came, went direct to the one table with a ketchup and he went away. He did not notice that other tables including us need the service. Further we were waiting few more minutes then the waiter came, he did not notice that our table is dirty, so I told him and he cleaned it up. And to our coffee with ice cream, vanilla ice cream was overfreezed - full of big pieces of ice, home made lemonade was not outgoing - only fruit pulp with water without pieces of fruit. There was also mess on the toilet.

Absolutely one of the best meals I had during a 3 week tour of 6 countries, and an unbelievable experience especially for the price. During the meal we kept remarking that this should be a Michelin-star rated restaurant because the food was so incredible, and were amazed when at the end the bill was only $28 (USD) each between two people. That was for the pate as an appetizer, splitting two traditional dishes, plus a dessert, two beers, and two Cokes. Simply amazing and a must if you are in Prague.
This restaurant proves why Italian food is probably the best in the world, probably.

Extraordinary pizza, incredible pasta and an Aperol to die for.

Service, location and prices are irrelevant when you have such good food.

I don't understand why desserts are not as good. I had a tiramisu and it tasted like it was made by a 10-year-old child.
Yesterday we had the best experience in Prague!!!
After 3 days eating "the same" in all the restaurants, we were fortunate to discover the Czech Slovak Restaurant and the surprise was huge!!!!!
The food and the service is extraordinary (we have eaten much better than in some Michelin star restaurants that we have tried...). The food is excellent, km0 and cooked with love and intense and surprising flavors!!!!
We ate a Tartar steak that we will never forget!!! In addition, we taste excellent wines from the region that they know how to promote and value with love and respect for their culture.
And, best of all, it is a business run with the love of the family (brothers and cousins working as a team) and three different venues with tickets for all audiences.
100% recommended and essential !!!!
Many thanks family!!!!

We went to Kampa for dinner after seeing the great reviews. Overall the experience has been worth it, and the feedback is likely to be nitpicking but given the pricing deserved:

The food has been great and has good flavors, but it did not ‘wow’. Indeed, the starter and desert were great, but the main was ok. In addition, the service has been attentive but not outstanding as others pointed out too. Couple of things: when opening a new bottle of wine let the guest taste a bit before pouring it in. Also, do say it needs to breathe for a moment before drinking it (not everyone might know). When someone does not order wine then the wine glas can be taken off the table given the limited space. I can go on like this, but again, it’s likely nitpicking for others. It’s just that the pricing of the place for local standards is on the higher end I therefore also expect the service to be on that end.

Last but not the least the atmosphere and view is gorgeous. Slight annoyance (not due to the restaurant) has been the ongoing music from the Pride parade (Sunday evening?) and our table ‘neighbors’ from the other side of the pond who were quite vocal with their conversation. This can happen everywhere so that’s not feedback for the restaurant but pending the occasion someone might prefer to sit inside (quieter).
Great place with amazing food with a twist. Not just brutal Czech cuisine (still being nice though:-). And not pure high cuisine. Something in between, very tasty and very friendly staff.
Kraft schnapps is highly recommended!
For evenings having reservation is a must.
My personal favorite restaurant in Prague. Everything they prepare is a piece of art. Their drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, are amazing (everyone must try their lemonades).

Food, all three appetizers, entrees and desserts, are gorgeously plated. The combination of flavors and textures is simply fantastic. Finally, they have their own beers and pear liquor.

This is the type of place you bring people to impress.
If you want to treat yourself with something special, go for a lunch on the terrace with view on the Charles Bridge. The food was rather small and exquisite, but very tasty and that was what we have expected. The service was great and very friendly. Sitting there with such a view in peace and with good food and drinks gave us a lot, thank you!

Kampa Park, is situated in a lovely position on the River, overlooking the Charles Bridge. The meal was good, however there is room for improvement. The scallops, which I had as a starter were excellent, cooked to perfection and I can really recommend. The buratta salad was good bit missing something, maybe some blueberries and walnuts could improve the flavour. The halibut main course was good but as you can see in the photo was swimming with vegetable foam, way too much. The desert was good but needed more mousse, there was too much raspberry syrup. The service was good and friendly, prices are expensive considering, overall good...
We had our lunch here and went for the tasting menu while enjoying its picturesque riverside view. Although our waiter was very friendly and helpful, we did experience a long waiting time between each course, even though there weren't many people around us, it felt like a long time before every dish was served. Lucky we were not in a hurry and still enjoyed our time.

As mentioned by previous guest this is sadly not a good experience. At best a tourist trap with excellent location, at worst a scam since no restaurant worth it salt would knowingly serve this food at these rates. The menu was unclear but even with added side dishes our food was extrenely barren, dry and sad. Hopefully they can improve because this is not okay.

This restaurant is just great. We came here in a group of five and expected a "normal" restaurant. We were surprised of the fancyness, as it doesn't look like it from the outside.

The service is OUTSTANDING. We reserved a table and when we were there, the table wasn't ready yet. We could wait on a couch and we even received an aperetif on the house.

The six course menu was great and really tasty. I can recommend the menu with vine, because in every course you can try from two bottles and then choose which you want.

To all the vines and courses we received information about the heritage, fun facts etc.

If you can afford it, definitely a must-go!

Reserved this restaurant for a very long time because of the attractive photos. Warm services with detailed introduction about the dishes.
4 course menu is really enough for us as we are not that Hungary today and two of us are kids within 90 minutes, finally we still overrun until 8:30. Clever for the restaurant to have a sofa for customer who arrived on time while waiting for the table. Both starters are not I quite like so better don’t comment. Goose soup is a bit too salty for me. Mushroom soup is great with potatoes in it. Main course we choose something more regular like pork and chicken only instead of rabbit, deer and goose. The pork is out of my imagination that can do something like that. Is that a real traditional Czech style? Or a fusion one. Not quite so sure. I prefer the pork instead of chicken, chicken one tastes no special for me.
What surprise me is desert ‘the apple pie’ not the very unhealthy super sweet style,it’s the best tonight. But what’s the most important for a fine dinning is better without kids under 10.
One more thing is for beer 🍺, they will bring you some to try before you choose, that’s really generous and well service. I appreciate that a lot.
The main attraction of the restaurant are the views. Next to Charles Bridge and to the Moldava river, the setting is really unique and charming. Food is really good, wine list not that extensive. Service is kind and attentive. However, prices are actually quite elevated, so it's not an everyday meal. Nevertheless, one of the best restaurants I've been here in Prague.

Tavern is located in a lovely place with beautiful views of St. Nicholas church. Prices are friendly, beer on draft is fresh and tasty (highly recommend Kozel!) and the food is good as well.

The place is often filled with locals and the atmosphere is slightly rugged, yet charming.

Very good traditional Goulash with deer and boar. Also a good local wine. The home made ice tea is nice (not so sweet). Only the goat salat as appetizer would get a 5-star but overall the service and food I enjoyed. Recommend this place. Pricing: 10-16€ for lunch (only the food)
Meat is good, staff is nice, beer is cheap. What You want more?
The food was EXTREMELY good. One of the best meals we’ve had. We took the recommendations for the waiter and he didn’t miss. 100% would recommend. Staff was fantastic and attentive. If you are around you have to eat here. Also, pricing is great.
We came in after a long 9 hour tour bus ride from Hamburg- and this restaurant was just around the corner from the hotel! Delicious mushroom pizza and cheese/vegetable salad. The tomato soup was a bit salty, but everything was served quickly and quite delicious. They were also very patient with a splitting the bill and itemizing when paying!

We encountered this loving tavern by acidente. There are a lot of people drinking beer and chatting. The food we ordered are traditional and the price is totally acceptable. A really comfy and loving place. This is one of the places where local people would frequent. Highly recommend!
First day we came here without a reservation we couldn’t get a table so we booked for the next day, and we’re glad that we did.

The service was very friendly and attentive, but fast. And the food was fantastic, with different seasonal options as well as Czech staples.

Will come back if I’m visiting Prague

Loved every dish here, especially the sausage and tlačenka! Price is also great! True local pub where sitting together with others is normal :) Waiters were nice to us. Cash only.
Amazing lasagna. Good service. Nice atmosphere. We had a nice dinner here, within walking distance of our AirBnB.
Ristorante CARMELITA Pizzeria in Prague is a delightful dining spot. With scrumptious pizzas, fantastic beer, and an incredibly friendly staff, this eatery offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A must-visit for pizza lovers in the city!
Good pasta dishes and the pizza is also fine, the waiters are polite and fast. But there is not many vegetarian options; but they also do some vegetarian extra wishes.

I would recommend this restaurant if you are in the center and want to try Czech food. Very nice traditional food; good vibes and friendly staff. The service was also very fast. We order quite alot, not knowing the portions were big. It would have been good if they told us we were ordering too much. Please note that 10% service fee is added to the bill in the end.

Do not go here if you have colour in your skin. Came in by myself they asked if I had a reservation, I said no. They said sorry we have no tables. Proceeded to order a drink at the bar. 5 minutes later, 2 white guys coke in without a reservation and a table was given to them with menus. 2 minutes after that, another guy came in (white) by himself, a table was given.

Disgusting in 2023 when people who earn £5-£10 an hour can treat you like this.

Tourist trap? Well it’s one of the best.
Waiter was friendly, welcoming and efficient. A litre of beer for less than the price of a UK pint. Nicely decorated and lit without intrusive music or other noise. Best of all was the pork knuckle. I’ve had many of these on my travels in Germany and Austria and this was up there with best. Plenty of meat, tasty skin and sauce, nice dressings. Yummy.

Be aware, this is a tourist trap. I went bonkers to see the prices. Then i thought there should be a reason for such high prices. I was so disappointed with the food. Do not even think of spending such money in Prague. There are better places if you can explore a bit.
Gess the total price

Great Czech Pub. Good warm hearty food on a cold winters day. Prices very reasonably.
We both had
Chicken, potatoes and butter.
Nice authentic restaurant.
Fair prices, good food. Friendly, fast staff.
A bit beside the main touristic stream in a beautiful side street.
Clean, modern toilets (seems to be not standard here in Prag touristic area).

I have chosen the duck menu, kids the BBQ burgers and the chicken schnitzel.
All are satisfied.
Space in backyard or room for small groups.
Nice restaurant just opposite the tram stop, food was excellent,I enjoyed the Czech beer as well, service was friendly and prices reasonable
We stopped here after visiting the castle. We only share a plate but it was very very nice.

Great place to enjoy a little break while exploring Prague!

Kampa island is a picturesque and scenic area in the city, therefore a perfect place to stop, take a breath, refresh - and exactly this is what Bohemian Bistro offers as well!

We only sat down outside at the square for a quick snack, ordered coca colas and local cheesecake called Misa, which by the way was yummy and very rich in flavor! I also had Aperol Spritz, unfortunately not that good in taste, rather watery and not well mixed. The positive thing is all drinks can be ordered "to go" if you are in a rush.

The staff was very nice and friendly, I appreciated that, but they could have been a little faster. It looked like only one person was doing the job and the rest were hidden inside the restaurant and nowhere to be seen. As this bistro is part of the hotel complex, toilets were available at the reception with very nice and expensive amenities (however the hand lotion bottle was empty). Paid by card. Visited in August 2022.

Tip: Outside on the façade is a little plaquette indicating the level of water during the flooding in 2002. Very interesting to imagine where the water was!
The portion of my plate looks small, but the selections my husband and aunt made seemed overwhelming, so please don't be put off. The food is tasty and the staff is very friendly and understanding (I brought two kids under 5). It's a bit loud, across from a streetcar stop, but worth a dinner there on your trip.
Amazing place! I have been here once on an earlier trip to Prague. Back in the town now, I ended up eaten several lunches and one evening dinner here.
Food is great! There pizza is thin and crispy, one of the best pizza I had.
And there carpaccio, just amazing!

And if the food wasn't enough, this place has the most friendly and service minded staff I have encountered in Prague.

And if great food and great service isn't enough for you, then they actually have great prices also!

Located in the beautiful Mala Strana its close to the center, but not crowded with tourist.

If you are in Prague, make sure to visit this place!
Racist waitress ! Waitress Told my family and I to get out because we weren’t European. She was screaming and cursing at us for being Americans. Most bizarre thing I have ever experienced. The entire staff was quiet and ignored the waitress outrageous behavior. We decided to leave because we were with kids and felt attacked. Only happened in this restaurant on our entire trip to Prague.
This place was recommended by our tour guide, Petr. It was fantastic! The servers were kind and friendly…. Let us move a table over next to the water wheel…even said he’d already changed it in the computer! 😊 The drinks and food were fast and incredibly delicious! The pork schnitzel and potato salad were some of the best I’ve ever had! Also tried the dark beer ice cream and apple strudel! Yummy! Such a sweet hidden treasure in Prague! I will come back the next time we’re in Prague!
Sehr lecker, abseits vom Trubel. Nettes Personal. Preis Leistung stimmt.

We were attracted by the location and high rating, but our experience wasn't very satisfying. The portions initially looked big, but that's only because the food is spread around the big plate. The food was ok, but not excellent. The waitress wasn't very helpful and her recommendations turned wrong.
The salad with goat cheese, which she said is like a main dish, should have been warm, it was fully cold and for 200 kr it had 3 very small pieces of cheese and only leafs. It was a simple salad priced as a main dish.
We had to wait and look for the waiter when we came and when we wanted to pay, having the feeling of an empty place. Like nobody is interested to serve you.

We ordered chicken with gnocchis and a broccoli soup and both dishes were exquisite. The gnocchis were the best ones I’ve tried in Czech Republic so far. The grapefruit lemonade and hot apple cider with brandy were perfect. The staff is super friendly and the place is cosy and intimate. More than recommended!
Food was very good but all the waiters here are not so nice! They all like have better things to do instead of to help and serve the customer!

Perfect place to try authentic Czech and Slovak dishes. We found this place while we were walking around the area and we're so glad that we did! The drinks were very nice too. Beautiful location by the park, away from the rushed, touristy area. Very welcoming yet modern, trendy vibe. Reasonable prices and generous portions.
Wow. The view of the water wheel is spectacular. Quick service, great food. Highly recommend.

Great food at a nice place. Had tagliatelle with dried salmon and brocolli soup and pancakes. Everything was delicious. Service was good.

Only minus would be that soup and pasta was brought at the same time, so the pasta would be cold by the time I would eat the soup.

I chose this place for breakfast based on google maps ratings and it was a very good choice. Cosy place in a great location and very good coffee. For breakfast, we ordered an omelette with Prague ham and shakshouka. A very tasty omelette. Shakshouka was quite sweet and delicate (I’d prefer more spicy) but objectively also very good. For dessert a delicious passion fruit cheesecake. On the plus side, I have to mention a friendly staff and very clean toilets, which include L'Occitane soap and hand lotion as standard (also in the men's one). A very nice little thing.
Very delicious pizzas and calzone They have home made lemonade.
The waiters are very kind.
We came on July and we enjoyed the experience and we repeated today. And we also had a very good time.
April 2022. We repeat again. They are very nice and the place very warm.
May 2023. We are here again. As always, very good italian food and nice service.

Nice and quiet restaurant. Placed in a narrwow street, it is perfect to drink something and rest in summer warm days.
They have a very refreshing home-made lemonade

Happily surprised that they had a gluten free menu, clearly identified. The gf options included many offerings such as meats accompanied by other side dishes. It is unfortunate that we could not try the sausages as they were apparently prepared in beer. Our celiac son was able to have a good lunch. I think the staff has some more learning to do on the gf subject and allergies as one of our dish was accompanied by two slices of bread. There was luckily no contamination. Overall good food and nice calm setting. We would go back.
