Bender Arena is an incredible place to see a basketball game! The American Eagles bring it every game!!
American University graduation was well run and comfortable. Guest speakers were fabulous. Good seating for handicapped entry, etc.
The Arena was very nice and spacious. The seats were lined up perfectly and the televised screens where available at every angle. You could see the graduation without having to get up and move closer to the stage. However the bleachers were uncomfortable to sit on for a long period of time. Without the back support the seats caused backaches, and leg cramps.
Unfortunately they didn't have any food to eat, only chips, candy and drinks.
Small intimate arena. Concessions reasonable price compared to large arenas.
Such a grand location and amazing graduation venue, much like the rest of the campus. Awe struck by the grandeur of the campus.

Attended my daughter's graduation (PhD Pharmacy) at this facility and found it to be very open, bright and easily accessible.
