GOLD COAST POOL CERTIFICATION

Tony did a great job sorting our fence for certification. He was polite, responsive and came over on the same day to rectify an issue. His knowledge of the code is excellent, certification came through in less than an hour. He supplied and installed hinges at a lower cost than buying the same product from e.g. Bunnings without installation. Nice one Tony

Tony was engaged to certify our pool. During the initial inspection Tony advised me that we would needed to insert a perspex topper over one section of the fence that bordered our neighbours property. We agreed to this work as we were happy to be compliant with Council regulations and were weren't going to see the perspex behind our privacy hedge anyway. Then while I was at work, and without any consultation with myself or my wife, Tony chopped, hacked and cut down our hedge, destroying basically all of our privacy. When my wife came out of the house and asked Tony to stop, he threatened her and said if he didn't remove the branches he wouldn't certify our pool fence. By the time my son called me on the phone, and I told Tony to stop destroying our trees, our privacy our privacy hedges were gone. I am totally dumbfounded by Tony's actions. When I questioned Tony about his actions he said the branches had to be chopped off as they were climbable? I pointed out that the thin branches of the hedge, a possum couldn't climb, let alone a human. But again the damage was done. If I was consulted, I could have easily talked through the alternatives to destroying our trees, however, I wasn't given a choice. As a result, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TONY TO ANYONE. TO DESTROY OUR TREES AND OUR PRIVACY WITHOUT CONSULTATION, WITHOUT TALKING OVER THE OPTIONS IS ENTIRELY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Quite disappointed to receive an invoice which included a $10 fee for moving the pot plant when I said to Tony “Oh, do we need that moved? I’ll get my husband to do it”. Husband was home and working in the garden, went to get him - 2 mins later Tony had moved it and later charged me on the invoice. I know it’s only $10 but what I’m saying is watch out for this guys sneaky extra charges!

Great business, Tony is a great guy who is very through and even popped up to Bunnings for us for a few things we needed for the certification. I would highly recommend giving him a call for prompt reliable service.
