Such a great little zoo! Lots of shows but not too overwhelming, lots of hands on activities, awesome native animals. A great day out, perfect for kids!

The time we spent here will be remembered as some of the most memorable from our trip to Queensland. The exhibits and enclosures were so easily accessible and quite up-close and personal, especially the kangaroo encounter (being able to feed and pet them). We had planned to tack on a couple of different experiences to our general admission tickets, but I am glad we didn't. What you get with general admission was more than sufficient. From wombats, pythons, freshwater crocodiles, red kangaroos, Tasmanian devils, koalas, emu, and many bird species, there is something for people of all ages. The educational facts are always fun and helpful, and the walk around such beautiful nature is an added bonus. The volunteers were lovely, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Absolutely a must. Funds go towards helping so much wildlife that come through the hospital and sanctuary. Great way to spend a day. The shows were fantastic with energetic and well informed staff.

Entry prices are reasonable but they don't tell you that parking is an extra $10. Interactive presentations are great and it's great for kids but a lot of the climbing apparatuses and the playground are more suited to older kids (e.g 4+ for playground and 10+ for the treetops.
