Stewartown Local Park

Could use more equipment for kids 8+.
People need to throw out their trash.

On Earth Day, a large group of us will be volunteering to clean this park. The reviews are mixed on whether the park is dirty or clean, and I think it has to do with timing.

I play tennis here. I enjoy hitting against the tennis backboard. There are 2 backboards in the village and this is the best one.

Had a lovely time at Stewartown Community Day with James Clay and Rita Blucker. Enjoyed all the Praise and Joyful Gospel selections, especially The Joyous Group The Chosen Vessels Jay and Nate. Enjoyed "Shoes", praying one day soon they will sing for me, "Walk Around Heaven". Also the Fish dinner was good although it could have been fried a shorter length of time. To God Be the Glory.

Was picking up pieces of glass instead...some retard broke a bottle or something...I picked up 4 full hands of glass pieces...but keep an eye on kids cause there still might be some left...

I grew up playing in this park. This park has been in existence all of my life in the historically Black community of Stewartown, just a hop skip and jump from my family home. A considerable chunk of this park is scheduled to be cut away due to the widening of Goshen Road, as well as private residential property. This is very unfortunate for the park and it's community residents.
