Not the beach I remember (not crowded and clean). Vagator was one of the safest and cleanest beaches with a flat seabed unlike other popular beaches. Now the water is blackened with pollutants, even some natural springs have dried up. These mineral rich springs were clean and had healing properties. All gone replaced by shacks.

Visited on a Sunday and it was chaos; unorganized parking, traffic jams, empty beer cans, broken bottles, ... Not a single cop to control the crowd or to manage the traffic .. I pity the locals living in the area.

It's a hidden gem, five minutes walking from Chapora fort. It's a small but beautiful beach 🏖 People visit here mostly during the sunset time, rest of the time it's a calm beach which is rarely visible in North Goa.
