Goa International Airport

This is a Silent Airport as Airforce operations are also done from here.
The Airport upgradation work is under construction.
Overall Good experience, less crowded.
And Not like other Big Airports of Mumbai and Delhi.
Almost everything is available to spend time if your flight is delayed or you have arrived early.

The airport is near to city centre. The airport itself is situated next to National Highway. The airport is not that busy though. You can get all the amenities in there. Only a few flights operate to Goa from various part of the country, the airport is not that developed. For domestic travellers you cant find a duty free shop for buying alcohol at low price, there is no lounge either. But you can find a lounge like Bar where you can enter using your debit/credit card. But there is time limit of 30mins, which I haven’t encountered in other airports. A domestic traveller can carry upto 5 bottles (or 5 litres) without the need of pass or permission. If the liquor is having alcohol percentage less than 25% then the limit of 5 litres doesn’t apply. The bottles must be well packed without opening the seal.

Dabolim airport is located in the heart of the city. Though a bit small international airport still it manages the crowd. There is one lounge only for waiting and having food. Other food chain options are also available there. Overall the airport is good to visit but more scope of improvement is present.
