Boston Medical Center Pediatrics

Boston Medical Center, become one of the most bad hospital in Boston where you called to make an appointment because you’re sick. They told you they cannot make an appointment for you until next year. And they don’t care about you sick or not. It is frustrating because I give birth to my son at this hospital and they used to care about people and they don’t care anymore. Both for adults and kids. I called to make an appointment for my son physical is going to summer camp on July and they answer me. They cannot make a physical till next January. I asked the receptionist if I don’t get that physical my son is going to miss summer camp and they say it is nothing she can do about it they full book until next year. It’s really disappointing for seeing people who don’t care about all the people especially the hospital.

Every nurse here was amazing the best I have ever dealt with with my kids they saved my sons life thank god there are still angels that care for our children god bless everyone of you

Boston Medical Center is ranked #2 in our state. #14 in the nation. In my personal experience and opinion, the best trauma hospital.
BMC provides many services as well as resources to the community.
As far as primary care goes, the hospital is not big enough for the capacity of patients it serves.
Located off Massachusetts avenue "methadone mile/skid row" is outside there doors causing their emergency room to be flooded with non trauma patients(unfortunately the demographic being, homeless, mentally ill substance abusers).

The call center is HORRIBLE! The reps are not helpful. They are not professional AT ALL. They pick up the phone and just hang up.
I'm transferring my child's care to another facility just because of this nonsense.

This Thursday in June they're going to do a CAT scan on me which I'm pretty sure they won't find any cats? 😂 trust me with what I'm about to go through you have to have a sense of humor and I trust my doctor and I trust God that I will get through this upcoming much-needed back surgery my doctor said it's delicate but it's dangerous and I looked at him and said I trust him and I said I trust God will guide you I don't feel it's my time to leave this earth yet I think God still has too many things for me to do trust me with what I am about to go through you have to have a sense of humor! If I didn't have God in my life I wouldn't have this confidence right now that everything's going to be okay! I said goodbye to my karaoke friends for a little while and I hope to be back in join them again after rehab recovery from this,😂 and I trust my doctor and I trust God that I will get through this upcoming much needed upcoming back surgery, the plus side is my doctor told me that this surgery could possibly take care of the pain I feel down the right side of my leg because of the pain I have in the lower right side of my back so there is a plus to this, the other plus side is God will be watching me all the way through the surgery and I have confidence I will come out of this even better than I was before, because if I don't have the surgery the disc that were injured from an injury in 2017 in Boston will get worse and I will probably end up in a wheelchair and I don't say this against wheelchair people I understand but I really truly want to stay upright as a healthy individual possibly do better things without the limp that I obtained from knee surgery from that same accident that never got better, and my hope is that this back surgery not only takes care of the back and the pain going down the right side of the leg but hopefully be able to closely walk normal again, a lot of my friends and case managers are pulling for me to come out of this even better than before so please keep me in your thoughts and if you pray, I would truly appreciate that! I trust my doctor and I trust my God! Tomorrow I find out from the same doctor how soon does surgery is going to be I'm thankful for that God bless you all and be safe in Jesus name amen... 😊☺😄

The place is very good but some people should not be there, they should be working at the zoom, because they treat you as an animal, my wife call the place on 5th floor to make an Apointment for our son and the lady on the phone was very rude, so I try to call it and the same lady was worse with me the she was with my wife, she don’t let us said anything she scream with us on the phone, it was on September 27-2021 at 3:44pm!!!

My son’s doctor was wonderful, however the rest of the staff is completely disorganized and does not know how to communicate with each other or other departments within BMC and then blame you for their failures. Still waiting, 8 months later, for them to send medical records to the new pediatrician... And like another reviewer mentioned, they NEVER see you at your scheduled appointment time. Every time we had a long wait, at least 45 minutes, whether we show up early or not, but if you’re 10 minutes late they give you such a hard time even if you call and let them know. Avoid going here at all costs. Nothing but a huge hassle. They do not care about health, all they care about is billing you. AVOID this place!
