A wel maintained marina on Salmon Bay close to the Ballard Locks. The site is very picturesque and a short walk to Ballard Avenue where there a great shops and restaurants.

I've been mooring my boat here for years. They're the best - super helpful, watch out for your boat when you're not paying attention, and send out advisories to alert you to any upcoming storms or lake level changes to be mindful of. Rates are excellent as well! Covered and uncovered moorage available. I would definitely recommend!

I visit the Marina often.
I'm not a boat owner, just a visitor.
Beautiful marina, well kept, very clean and very secure. Private Parking Lot.
Has a security on site and makes the rounds on all docks around the clock.
There are beautiful flowering plants on site and picnic tables too.
Best part is....its right in the Heart of Ballard, WA.
Walking distance to so much night life. Great Restaurants, Music Venues. Sports Bars. & Grocery Stores and so much more.....

I think it's one of the nicest places of all the marinas here in Seattle great management it's just been a pleasant experience for the last 15 or 20 years or however long it's been well taken care of just a very nice place to stay.

This is a nice marina. I visit friends here and it is just a wonderful place to moor your boat. Security Gates to all docks. Covered slips. Dock lighting. Sprinklers on roofs to keep the birds flying. Wildlife is in abundance here. Herons, Geese, Ducks. Fish and it's located in a perfect location. Close to all the Ballard Night Life, Ballard Farmers Market.
So think Boat, Yacht, Moorage. And Stimson Marina is the place to keep you boat or yacht.

I have a 36 foot 1966 Chris Craft wood I was going by Stimson Marina I lost power it was a stormy day the wind blew me in to one of his covered slip areas put out my window from the bowsprit of a sailboat and was doing my best and actually did it accomplish my goal of keeping my boat off of other vessels to prevent them from being damaged when the manager came around he was less than accommodating he was quite belligerent and a verbally aggressive that I would even come around close enough to his marina to accept any of his vessels under his care being one of his patrons I would probably appreciate that I am a possible Patron if possible tenant at least I was I would never even think about keeping my vessel there if he's not aggressive towards people that just because you don't have a slip at your Marina is that tends to cause feelings of contempt Miss content which later on brings vandalism and other things when it's given to the wrong person certain people will take that aggression and just put it behind them others will not they will become vindictive and they will vandalize I think he was less than professional and in his attitude towards me sincerely .
