Paradise Bottom

Absolutely beautiful forest! Although the walk is not too long, it was definitely worth it! This is a less known place, so you will not encounter too many people. The path at the start is lined with beautiful cedar trees which you can also find on the very left side of the woods.

Has a few paths you can choose from. If you walk along the very top path, you will find yourself at a viewpoint which is overlooking the River Avon. There is a lake in the middle with a few cascades.

You can also find ramsons (wild garlic) everywhere you look. It's fresh and in season during the spring, so we harvested a lot! Tastes wonderful, even on it's own.

Always a nice walk in any season..Explore the small tracks which lead off to Pill or over look Clifton.

Great for walking and cycling, some lovely scenery and fresh air. Parked at Leigh Woods and walked from there

Just beyond Leigh woods you can venture into some slightly deeper and less disturbed woodland, fungi and moss abounds, and you can truly get a little lost in this green wonderland!
Very muddy off and often on the path so bring some decent shoes!!

Beautiful place for a dog walk, plenty of mud, water and trees!!
