came here for lunch right after it opened - lots of seating and really cute decor- great spot to eat with friends or a date tapas style.

ordered the tatas bravas, fish tacos, peri peri chicken salad, lemon thyme skewers, was super good and filling alongside complimentary bread. would reorder everything except the chicken salad (personal preference as they use black rice which is a chewier texture)

Had a business meeting in Dublin and took a colleague for dinner at The Market Bar. Really interesting architecture, great vibe. The food is excellent. Cannot say enough good things about it. Service too is excellent. We were well taken care of by Viola.
I read some of the reviews about service charge being added. Honestly can’t understand why they sound so indignant. 12.5% is fair, it’s clearly indicated and you were going to do it anyway. You just want the right to say to the server? What for? Gratitude? If that worries you then artificial intelligence is going to a big shock to your life.
The Market Bar is on my list for when I’m in Dublin. Absolutely. Great spot.

Very lively and bustling place right on the street. Perfect for birthdays, meetups and banter. I loved the atmosphere and surprisingly the food was very delicious. The menu is quite comprehensive and has a lot to offer. I tried the chicken skewers which were delicious and a must try. Loaded nachos were good but I have had better. Chicken wings are also great and recommended to try. Food and alcohol are served at pocket friendly prices and you won't be disappointed with your visit.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at this spanish tapas restaurant in March, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance exuded warmth and authenticity. We started with meatballs in a rich tomato sauce. The meatballs were tender, and the sauce added a burst of flavor that complemented them perfectly. Next up were the calamari, cooked to perfection with a crispy exterior indicating freshly prepared batter. The tenderness of the calamari was exceptional, making it a standout dish. One of the highlights of the meal was the fish tacos. The combination of flavors was expertly crafted, resulting in a dish that was both satisfying and delicious. Additionally, the patatas bravas were a hit, perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a spicy kick that left us craving for more. To end our meal on a sweet note, we indulged in a slice of cheesecake that was simply divine. Creamy, smooth, and bursting with flavor, it was the perfect conclusion to our culinary adventure.
In addition, the spacious layout of the restaurant provided ample room for diners to enjoy their meals comfortably without feeling crowded. The attentive and friendly staff further enhanced our experience, providing excellent service throughout our meal. Moreover, we were impressed by the timely delivery of our dishes, ensuring that each course arrived promptly and allowed us to savor every bite without feeling rushed. Overall, the combination of great food, inviting atmosphere, attentive service, and timely delivery made our dining experience truly memorable.

The service is very attentive, and the atmosphere is clean, well-decorated, and pleasant, with great music selection. Despite the 12.5% service charge, the quality of the food and exceptional service make up for it. It's worth noting that it's not a fancy or sophisticated restaurant, but rather a place to enjoy quality tapas, good-looking, and affordable.

It was nice place to have a group dinner.

But we overpaid.
We were three ppl, ordered, food served and 4th person came, didn’t have food but paid as 4ppl having meal. Or is it common thing paying without having food?

I really like the decoration inside. The hall is very high makes people feel very spacious and bright. We went there at noon, I believe the atmosphere will be different in the afternoon and evening. The food tastes very good. The oil and vinegar sauce with the bread is a delicious taste that I haven't seen in a long time. There are many large black and white photos of old stars on the wall, paired with old songs, which is endlessly memorable. The song "Kiss from the Rose" took me back decades ago.
