the coffee and pastries are not especially impressive for a place that has so much coffee paraphernalia and coffee art on the walls, but it is a good third place to hang out and the staff are nice and helpful.

Orders an espresso and oat milk latte. Menu says espresso servings are all supposed to be doubles. Typically double should be around 40g of espresso depending on shot ratio. Barista split the shot, gave me maybe 12g of espresso in each drink out of laziness and not wanting to pull two shots. Won’t be coming back again. Garbage methodology and obviously the barista is arrogant enough to think customers won’t notice. Go somewhere else.

Hands down the best cafe in Seattle. You won't get a better espresso anywhere else.
I tried the Nico for the first time and it was just so good.
Their hot cocoa is also so flavorful and highly recommended.
The ginger molasses cookie was really good too.
Great atmosphere. Plenty of different type of seatings to your choosing.

While Seattle might have a ton of options when it comes to coffee, this place is a stand-out gem. Coffee's fresh, made to order, and delicious. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The store itself is full of comfortable seating and the large windows overlooking the mini-forest of REI across the street make this place feel like a cafe retreat in the woods. Pastries are good, too, but it would be nice if they had more savory options (and not just some sweaty quiche, as other coffee shops have).

This is my go to coffee shop in Seattle. The staff are top notch and the drinks are consistently good. The location can be busy with limited street parking, but I've never been unable to find a spot. Large seating areas with little nooks and even rooms to give you a sense of privacy.

Great local coffee spot! The cafe Nico is a forever favourite; I’ve tried the mocha too, which is kind of hit/miss situation. The space is cosy and quiet - ideal for getting some work done. Staff are super nice too.

Very cozy cafe with very great retro diner vibes. Lots of seating, and they open the windows when the weather's nice! The coffee is out of this world, really great roasts and flavor. Can't miss this spot if you are in Seattle!
