Cafe Red is the perfect cafe for me. The staff are fun and friendly. The coffee and the vegan breakfasts they serve are fast and tasty and reasonably priced. They stand for responsibility towards the city and their neighbors through political engagement as a biz. I enjoy the mornings when I stop by Cafe Red before catching my train!

Cute little quaint coffee shop. Baristas really nice and friendly. Your typical coffee menu but some specialty items like gingerbread syrup. I got an iced latte with oatmilk and one pump gingerbread syrup. Delicious! We were the only ones in there on a Monday morning. Not much seating if it was busy.

Great place, Just stopped by for a quick coffee pick me up for the long drive back home. It was beautiful. Service providers were kind but on the slower side (which is no problem at all). My favorite was the purple haze drink. It taste kind of like taro with Vietnamese coffee? I'm not sure - couldn't really pinpoint the taste of it other than that it's bomb. I had it hot so nothing fancy to see. Also ordered the pumpkin drink. it was good too.
Great coffee, decent food, but honestly the biggest takeaway for me was the service. I have never felt more unwelcome in a coffee shop. I can understand someone having a bad day, and maybe I truly just got unlucky, but after 3 visits, receiving the same bad service each time, I gave up and moved on.

If the baristas that helped me were truly just having a bad day, I wish you the best.

Food and coffee were both sub-standard. I ordered Ube Latte and ham & cheese sandwich. I haven’t tasted even a touch of Ube in the Ube Latte and the bread was served cold.
There isn't enough seating room for people who want to come read or work on things. There are 9 tables of various size, with minimal seating. There is enough room for more without changing the atmosphere. Overall, the service was great and the food was good. I would recommend coming here.

Three drinks were ordered in our group and all of them were really yummy.

Oat milk cappuccino with mulling spice syrup - no need to add sugar or anything to this drink, it was delightful. Very light, and if you’re not a super coffee drinker it was a good dose of caffeine with a really fun flavor.

Chai - classic. Great spice and slightly on the less sweet side.

Naima (seasonal) - from what I heard, a solid and yummy espresso drink.

Great local spot to get some work done, quality coffee, and friendly staff

Been going for the past week straight and their lavender menace is my favorite drink but i’ve gotten the tragic news that it’s only seasonal and they’re pretty much out 💔 Service is great and baristas are very kind :)) Hoping to find a new obsession since my favorite drink will be gone soon 😔 Also their avocado toast is good, I’m not the biggest fan of avocado toast but I enjoy theirs!
Easily some of the worst coffee I've had in Seattle. I've given this cafe several changes and I leave disappointed every time. The cold brew tastes burnt, the iced lattes are warm, the dirty chai tastes like water. I'm done paying $8 for coffee worse than what I can make at home. Seriously, nearly $8 for a dirty chai with oat milk and the bottom of the cup is covered in espresso grounds. Ridiculous.

The only reason I wouldn't rather go to Starbucks is because of the labor violations. It's a shame that Kaladi closed because we're really lacking a good cafe on Pike/Pine. Go to Ghost Note instead.
A Seattle institution that does coffee right. Friendly staff and comfortable, cozy atmosphere. Quiet room available. You won't find a better coffee in town. They know what they're doing.

A delicious coconut macaroon. The are famous for seasonal concoctions but I like that there is a variety of brewed coffees available.
Best coffee I’ve ever had! I normally don’t go for lattes with flavoring because it’s too sweet, but I tried a vanilla oat milk latte and pumpkin pie spice latte and they were both incredible!!! Highly recommend!
Why should I pay 5 dollars for you? I ordered with saying I want to take away. They give me cup of coffee without cover and bag. I try to put on cover but it is so difficult…The cover they supply is not suitable not match cup size!!!…they try to put on cover even change my cup again which looks rude and destroy the pretty heart surface. Okay..I drive scooter here which is close home, taking coffee home looks impossible with their service! Please go Starbucks or ones are professional…that customers can get anything and good service without asking for service fee. While, atmosphere is good in shop that a lot of people study work or talk there.
This coffee shop is kind of by itself on this street. We ordered a mocha with oat milk and a latte with tiki syrup which was seasonal. We also got a coconut cookie and a potato roll. The coffees were excellent and flavorful. Wow. The cookie was delicious and the crust on the roll was so fresh. This is a hidden gem.

Decent drink...but $7.27 for a tea latte that was advertised as $6 made me do a double take. Apparently they have an additional 10% gratuity that goes on top of the advertised price...and then on top of that they give you the option to tip again ...this tipping culture is out of control and the 'gratuity' should be baked into the price, otherwise it's not technically gratuitous. The drink was decent...but the tipping situation offset the deliciousness
This place was cute! My dad and I stopped in and ordered vanilla lattes. They were expensive. But good. But not sure if $17.50-something is worth it for two lattes honestly. And that’s without tip! We enjoyed sitting in the shop though. Good place to meet up with friends or family, and people were doing work on laptops here too. Barista who took our order was super lovely!

Don’t despair. The line that weaves out the door here moves pretty quickly. It’s also a lovely place for people watching so can’t complain about a few extra minutes of being squeezed together with local community. The coffee is good and the food selection is en point. We didn’t have to wait long for a sandwich and the coffee came out pretty much when we were finished paying.

Love this place! Was visiting Seattle and staying in Greenwood for a week, and it became a regular stop.

To clarify: it is dog-friendly in the sense that you can bring your dog in to order, but they can’t stay. Dogs aren’t allowed to hang out while you dine in Seattle eating establishments. Nonetheless, the staff wished that weren’t the case, and we had a really good chat about that!

They’re all super friendly. LOVE their creative drinks—I tried the jasmine milk tea, and black sesame latte. Both were amazing!

Staff are always friendly and welcoming. They have a simple menu with items suitable for breakfast or lunch, which I'll need to try soon. They have an exceptional cold brew with notes of chocolate and brewed well.

They also have a rewards program.

The coffee here and crafted drinks they have here are so unique and fabulous. I love that they keep things seasonal and the quality is in every sip. I love the quiet and very cold(AC blasting) environment to study and get some work done. I didn’t see a whole lot of selection for treats but they seemed to have a few dietary restriction options.

We arrived on a saturday morning. There was a huge queue to enter already. We ordered an oat milk mocha and a cold brew. The cold brew was delightful. The mocha was highly disappointing. I couldn’t taste any chocolate in it. It has a sister restaurant inside for ordering food.

One of our favorite coffee shops in Seattle! Vietnamese inspired drinks with a twist of Ube. You won’t be disappointed with their coffee, strong flavor coffee but not acidic. Sweet and caffeinated enough to get you through the day.
We always take friends and family from out of town to this coffee shop, and so far everyone seemed to love their drinks.

TBH it's not worth it to pay almost $30 for a few pieces of croissants to go. 15% Tip is obligated otherwise your CC wouldn't pass and this is not optional like other stores. Why? it was only something to go. I'll never go back even if is a local shop, I'd rather to go little further for it.
I feel so happy to have another great experience at a great coffee shop in Seattle. I would say definitely go don’t even read anymore reviews. The atmosphere is great, my mocha was amazing ALERT: 🚨 DO NOT SAY NO TO THE WHIPPED CREAM IT IS THE BEST THINK ON EARTH THEY MIX ESPRESSO AND VANILLA IN IT AND ITS THE BEST WHIPPED CREAM EVER!!
The drinks are really good! I've tried all their ube flavored drinks and the seasonal ube monster. One of the best I've tried, and the price isn't too bad considering the flavor and size. I ordered a 16 oz, and it made me full before I even finished it. Parking is difficult, so I suggest commuting or walking from another place in Columbia City.

The food was good but I didn’t feel like it was worth the cost. The bacon breakfast sandwich was better than the pesto one. The camellia latte was tasty.

The inside is quirky - there’s a tiny bathroom super close to tables. It’s kind of grody. The outside area, however, is nice.

I go here from time to time. Their coffees are really good, but a bit overpriced in my opinion, but keep in mind that everything is vegan here. Not as big of a fan of their burritos, but I have yet to try their breakfast sandwiches.

cute neighborhood shop! excited to see a 1&1 option on the menu. great time hanging out in the laid back vibe.
When I found out I was fairly close to what could be considered the source and epicenter of latté art, essentially kicking off third wave coffee in the US, I had to come have a work day here. And this spot doesn't disappoint!

The vibe is a cool, retro/warehouse, hip cafe style with plenty of seating and complimentary WiFi. The selection of items is great, too! More to pick from than your standard 3rd wave shop, in terms of food and drink selection.

But how's the coffee? I had a cappuccino with regular milk. The flavor leaned towards a mellow, sweeter taste. As one who usually sticks to a more bitey, bitter flavor, Vivace's flavor wasn't my favorite, though a nice break from my norm. If you like a more mellow coffee, though, it is very good. Tastes like quality!

So in a town known for coffee, I'd say this is a must.

Lovely coffee shop in Capitol Hill. Friendly staff and amazing coffee. Also had the egg sandwich which was really tasty. Definitely will return next time in Seattle
Served expired and stale baked goods, and an "iced chai latte" that was essentially all milk, dumped it out at the next intersection as I didn't want a cup of just straight up milk. The croissant was so stale that I could hardly chew through it, and when I pointed out the cookie I ordered had an expiration date from 5 days ago they took the sticker off and handed me another one from right next to it without a sticker. The cookie smelled suspicious and will probably be tossed out since I can't trust their food safety practices. We also asked for a nitro cold brew and they said the machine takes too long to set up, so they didn't want to do it. I don't know what changed from last time I was here but I won't be back, and will warn others away.

The beans were good, and that was the only saving grace from a one star review.

One of Seattle's best coffee places, run by some great community minded folks. The new space isn't quite as cute as the old space (I really miss the back courtyard), but that's the way of this city...
can’t give good review because of several issues I had in a such a short time while I was visiting.
First, staffs really wanted to close early and go home, so they decided to close earlier than they promised.
And since they were in a hurry, they didn’t get the correct order.
On top of that, they may out of coffee and have too much ice, so they decide give me iced coffee that i cannot even put a straw in it. when i took out some ice, my large coffee became small coffee.
They may have a good day, but not when I was there. this 1 bad experience is good enough for me to decide not to go there again. feel sorry for the owner. wish the owner knows.

First timer here with my hubby. I just love the atmosphere: very cute and esthetic. The bathroom is so cute 🥰. Drinks are refreshingly good! Breakfast goodies are delicious 🤤. Highly recommended!!!
This is a big coffee shop located in Cap Hill. There are two order lanes. We arrived on a rainy day and got a mocha with oat milk and caramel latte. The caramel latte was so aromatic and probably the first proper latte I’ve had with a proper caramel flavor. The mocha was okay. The decor and ambiance is on point too.
LOVEEEE this place with all my heart! If I could go here or any of the other locations every day, I would! Highly recommend bac siu for any Vietnamese coffee lovers who want a lighter version of it!
Is 10 out of 5 an option? There are so many options in Seattle!! If you are in from out of town and want to try something outside of a corporate giant you MUST stop by Cafe Vivace. The Nico is unreal. Their Americanos are great or you could just get an expertly pulled shot of espresso.

This place was absolutely amazing! The Vietnamese coffee is flavorful through the roof! The Pandan was flavorful and better than anything else out there! Perfect for Pandan lovers.
Go get yours today! You won't be sorry.
Baristas are awesome and they know what they’re doing. Most of the customers are amazing! Good quiet space to work but they don’t take cash. I drove off of the highway to get coffee on the way home, and all I had was cash. I was thankful for the guy that bought me coffee. To the managers and owners, TAKE CASH.

Grabbed a quick tea here on a lunch break. Convenient access from the station, really cozy vibes. Lots of folks reading or working on laptops while sipping on drinks and snacking. Good prices. I regret not trying one of the tea-based drinks, I only got a green tea. Definitely gonna swing by here next time I'm in the area.
Grabbed some coffee on our way home to Portland. Super tasty! The group got cardamom honey oat lattes, and a dirty chai. The barista was sweet.
Coming from a region with few craft coffee shops, this was my first experience with Vietnamese coffee. I specifically went for the Ube latte. I’ve had it both hot and cold, and both were amazing! My only problem is figuring out how to make this when I get back home because I can’t go back to regular coffee after this. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the cafe is very clean and inviting.
I stopped in for a late in the day shot of espresso. Ordered a single shot on ice with a splash of half & half, and it was $4.41 with tax. I feel like it was a tad pricey, but it was delicious! I don't mind paying for quality and supporting local. Thank you for the quick and friendly service as well!
I had the pleasure of visiting Espresso Vivace while visiting Seattle this past weekend. I drove all the way from Bellevue after reading the reviews and I’m so glad I did! I love the cool, artsy vibe of the coffee house, that features local artists’ work for sale on the walls. My favorite drink is several shots of strong espresso used in an iced mocha, made with oat milk and this was definitely one of the best I’ve ever had. The spinach and feta brioche was also good. I went early and was glad I did on a drizzly Saturday morning because the line was going out the door when I departed.
Easily the best coffee I have ever had! I got the purple haze. It was Vietnamese hazelnut coffee with a cheese based foam and ube drizzle. It’s definitely a sweet beverage so if you going for a butter coffee this may not be for you. But I personally couldn’t get enough of it! Regular coffee will never be the same for me…
White velvet coffee is the best latte of my life! I visited once a day during my trip to Seattle. I am planning to travel to Seattle again at the end of this month. I'm going to drink white velvet coffee again!
And "Espresso Dolce vita" Coffee beans were also very popular as gifts for acquaintances.

Best coffee shop on Beacon Hill! Not only are the drinks, food and staff phenomenal, but what makes The Station extra special is the way the shop connects with the community. They are always putting on one event or another to uplift folks who live in the community, especially marginalized groups. I love getting my coffee here because it feels as good as it tastes.
Really enjoyed my chai tea latte with oat milk. Well balanced, not too sweet or bitter. The small is def small but was a perfect little pick me up.
Line was out the door but moved relatively fast. Ordered food along with my drink from b-side (and a cookie to go from a local bakery-they had a small sign showing what baked goods were from where)
Coffee is good and I love that you get a real cup if you decide to stay and enjoy it in a relaxing environment. The music is retro from the 90’s and not too hard core. When I was there they were playing the Cranberries album. Nice to reminisce some fond memories from days past while enjoying a hot cup of Joe. The pastries looked delicious. Next time I’m there I’ll be sure to try them.
While I've had better espresso in Seattle, this was definitely upper tier, and the baristas were super pleasant and conversational. As a photographer, the vibes were, as the kids say, immaculate.

Been here twice now and this place never disappoints! Their oat milk latte the first time I went was spot on, and today’s cold brew was great. It was my first time trying b-side next door and their mushroom egg sandwich was delicious. Service is also really great and quick. I also got myself a bag of roasted coffee beans from Kuma Roasters so I’m excited to try it at home. Easily one of my favorite coffee shops in the neighborhood!

A cute little coffee shop that has a rustic and vintage vibe. They had lots of options and it was a great spot to sit and get some work done. It wasn’t so loud in there either which was really nice.

This place got a cool vibe but my gosh the smell is very unpleasant when I was there. I walk in for a cup of matcha green tea latte, wearing a mask and I can still smell the deep-fried oil and fishy. After being there for about 5 mins my entire hair and clothes smell like oily fish. Yuck!
The price is hefty as well. Is more expensive than other cafes I have been thru. Look and taste nothing special and is alright. Not sure if I want to give them a second chance.

Great coffee shop with nice ambiance and selection of coffee.
There are also some selections of pastries here, but mostly cookies and plain cakes.

The ice brew coffee is good with affordable price, a bit sourness from the bean and smooth.
The cookie is soft, but not too special.

There are also some outlets here and free Wifi, so it is also a good place for work (might not be good for meeting though as music is playing here).

Overall, a great coffee shop in Capitol Hill for chilling out or working alone.

Team lunches are a quarterly event for my team. For this quarter’s team lunch, our team chose FareStart to have the team lunch. I am aware of the positive impact FareStart is having on the community. We arrived on a rainy Wednesday for lunch. I opted to get a red wine and the impossible burger for my lunch with a tomato basil soup. The burger was served with some pickled onions and pickles on the side. The burger itself was juicy and delicious and the chipotle mayo style dressing on the bun was adequate for the size of the burger. The burger is definitely bigger than an 8oz burger and was filling. For dessert we opted for a seasonal mint pie which was a pie in the form of a burger. The ambience of the place is astounding and I will definitely come back or try the other FareStart restaurants in the Seattle area.
This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Seattle! I love the atmosphere and the employees are always so nice. My go to drink here is the honey oatmilk latte, it's so good! Definitely recommend.

I love the ambiance and decor of this place. The tall ceilings combined with glass windows all around at this corner location opens up the place in a unique yet private way. Just to top that off, the food here is delicious. Every dish I ordered came just right as described. The dishes themselves are very common American dishes, but you can see and taste the detailed work that went into each plate.

Had a great lunch here, blackened salmon and parmesan truffle fries. Great tasting food, very cool atmosphere and a great mission, highly recommend this place
Great place for lunch on the go if you’re attending a program or meeting at Pacific Tower. The selection isn’t huge, but they do what they do really well. I’m a big fan of their sandwiches; in my experience, FareStart sandwiches are fairly boldly flavored, which isn’t always true of grab-and-go lunch counters. (I’ve come to expect a certain inoffensive blandness from any sandwich pulled out of a cooler, but the pesto, meat, and cheese on my Italian are tasty as heck. I’m eating it as I type!)
I’ve also inevitably received genuinely warm and friendly (and professional!) service from the folks behind the counter. Grabbing a sandwich or salad from FareStart at Pacific Tower is a really pleasant moment during a busy day.
