We found this market by complete accident and it has very quickly become a must-go whenever I am in the area. The selections are incredibly comprehensive and rather affordable considering the rarity of some of the items on sale. Honestly highly recommend a visit.

It has been a few years since I last shopped at Hong Kong Supermarket. Not much has changed. There's a good selection of items. The workers are still curt. The prices have gone up noticeably. It's almost as bad as HMart now.

Excellent selection of ingredients for cuisines from all over Asia. However, you'll want to avoid it if you're in a wheelchair, and it's iffy if you have other mobility issues. There is stuff stacked in the aisles, and stuff stacked on that stuff.

I love this place but it feels kind of unsanitary. There’s water dripping from the ceiling all over the place, including around the fresh produce. They really need to get it fixed and do a proper deep clean of the store….

Always check expiration date. I bought expired food there, and the English nutrition information stickers somehow often “ happened“ to cover the production or expiration dates. Meats are generally good, seafood sometimes is not as fresh, prices are fair.

Opened the frozen buns I JUST bought and it's completely full of mold. The expiration date even says it's good through end of the year.

Dingy and dirty. However, it's the only Asian grocery store near BU and BC. Free parking lot and next to the Packards Corner Green Line T stop. You're better off going to HMart in Central or going downtown to CMart in Chinatown.
