INCREDIBLE PLACE! Perfect to relax and enjoy the greatness of the area
Took 15 minutes to find. Trail was overgrown and filled with thorns. Found 2 ticks on my legs after, even though I used bug spray. View was alright. Avoid this trail
Moderate steep hike up,nice view from the top.
It is difficult to find the trail leading up to the overlook if you're not observant. It is short, but pretty steep. I went in the morning, not a lot of people were there. There is a place near the overlook where you can camp. It's nice, wish they would make an OFFICIAL trail to make the experience better. Unfortunately, there is a lot of graffiti on there as well...
Beautiful overlook but moderately difficult to get to. If you are out of shape like I am, very difficult. You do have to cross rt 15 to find the trail but it's easy to see from there. No signs mark it but it's there. Beautiful place and has an almost magical atmosphere.
Flat trail good for all skills levels, kid and dog friendly. Some tables for picnic, beautiful!
The view at the overlook is amazing. The trailhead is challenging to find and there are no signs. We parked at the point of rocks parking lot and followed the rails towards the tunnel. We found the trail underneath the route 15 bridge. Photo below shows where we started.
