Taqueria Los Gordos

I ordered delivery from here. I grew up in South, South Texas. This place has amazing Rellonos cooked perfectly, simmered beef is amazing, and green chili is perfect! I am a huge fan for sure! Rice is so so, but a small gripe for all the wins

I ordered through Grubhub but so i cant judge on service or atmosphere, but if the quality of the food is any indication of the rest it cant be more than a 3. my food was disgusting. the burrito had a huge chunk of foam in it from another container. i didn't find until i had already eaten part of it. their big burrito had peas in it for some reason, yes, green peas. why?!?! it didn't even have a bunch either, it was like 3 peas randomly.

Burrito - Mediocre at best
Steak tacos - mediocre at best.
Steak crunchy tacos - Mediocre at best with nothing really in them.
Queso and Chips mediocre at best.

Food was delish as was the service . They have a full bar which was a bonus ! Menu is large so lots of options

My wife and I live within walking distance, so we decided to get takeout from this establishment. Our order was ready on time, and it was correct, including the special instructions. Where our experience took a nose dive was when we tried to eat the food. Firstly, the quesodilla appetizer we ordered actually had TOO MUCH cheese! And I love extra cheese! The wedges were stacked and stuck together. My wife had a simple bean and cheese burrito that she had to eat with a knife and fork because it wasn't rolled very well and was spilling out when she opened it. I had the carnitas enchiladas. Normally, a little crispiness on the pork is great, but this pork was charred black, seriously òvercooked and the "chef" decided to use it anyway(see pic) I doubt they would have used it had we dined in. Also had had sopapillas for desert, which were great except they only gave us a small condiment container that was less than half full of honey, barely enough for 1 piece. Definitely not worth the $48.00 we paid for it all. So many better options for Mexican food in Aurora.

Ordered a Carne Asada burrito and got a packed beans burrito with some small pieces of Asada 🤦🏻‍♂️, got ripped off in my opinion for a $13 burrito!! also Mexican food does NOT go well with Lemons 🍋, it’s Limes and nothing else.

Decent little restaurant with plenty of seating for dining in. Parking lot Is shared with a shopping mall so there's plenty. Food was pretty good. Service was not all that great.
