Scaturro Super Market

I have tried shopping to support this supermarket but they all have expired food that i have to return the bald headed manager is very rude and they have a butcher in the back that thinks he head of security that treats you like your a convict and now they have a disrespectful security guard that snatches shopping bags out of customers hands when walking in and no sign letting customers know they have to check in there bags with security guard when walking in. If it matters or not i wont be shopping at this supermarket anymore .

Great local supermarket. Always a blessing to swing by on my way home from work to pick up necessities. I do have to point out that I appreciate the cashiers that help pack my bag when I'm completing the transaction using the tiny screen. It's great teamwork! I don't understand the cashiers that stare at me as I'm competing the transaction and packing my bag- what is your job?

Good deli, real nice reusable grocery bags! terrible paper bags with no handles

This store sells a lot of expired products and some of the expired products have stickers to cover the date (especially the ones in the shopping cart in aisle 6)

The friendly neighborhood market! We have been shopping here since we moved into the neighborhood in 2010. Before that we had a Scaturro in Bushwick on Knickerbocker.Ave that we went to for 20+ years. Their prices are good. Their meat dept is top notch, but the deli is indispensable.

Manager of Crapturro's sarcasm is one day gonna cause him issues. Seems he cannot except negative reviews about his overpriced and expired items he has in the store. FACT: During pandemic there were few sales, no signs in the windows and the prices were raised. Management doesn't care about the community it's all about profits and greed. Store used to be my go to store back in the day and it's funny how they still think they can live off their great reputation they had in the 70's and 80's.

Good deals esp. @ holiday season. Also great finds in discount expired item cart. Good selection of Czech beers and they usually keep both Foster's Ale (green can) & Lager (blue can) in stock, at a good price (2/$5.00).
