Casual counter-service restaurant offering brunch with brunch cocktail specials. The Meatloaf Benny was an unexpected item on their menu that proved to be delicious. The pancakes were also a crowd favorite.

Excellent food with a unique fusion of different tastes. Chicken schnitzel sandwich was amazing. Had the frozen mango margaritas too 🔥🔥
Beet burger was yummy and the mashed potatoes were one of three amazing potato sides (regular and sweet potato fries were also great!).

Delicious pulled pork sandwich and the tomato cream was to die for. Great customer service, the server was super nice. We became friends! It can get busy, since is a small restaurant but its worth the wait.

As a Brooklyn Native , I was not to impressed. Gentrification is so boldly not respecting the true value in maintaining the integrity of the hispanic culture of the community it supposedly servicing. Outside of the Brooklyn print graffiti on its wall, the place is other than that!!!! No thank you gentrification… it would be nice to see some form of art that represents the community it so call serves. However, there is a nice print of a tree that represents the name of the establishment. The place is super tiny, making it difficult to order or even to take a look at the full menu as the patrons are standing over each other to order and hawk watching for a seat is the sport in this establishment. After 40 plus minutes of waiting our food arrived. I ordered the full breakfast, in which my home fries were cold . The chicken schnitzel and waffles and the grill cheese with tomato bisque were a hit and in this aspect I was pleasantly surprised. Being that the establishment is super tiny, politely placing a seating time limit would be beneficial. Many people walked in and turned right around to avoid the wait time. There was also a table of four whom finished their meal, yet sat with no regard of the other customers patiently waiting. This new wave of disrespect moving into the neighborhood is questionable. Smh

When meeting a friend in Brooklyn for a Brunch hang, we had 30 minutes to spare and grab a seat here at Brooklyn Tree. The Brooklyn Tree had a BOGO mimosa deal and I appreciated its cozy and casual atmosphere. If you want a nice, small spot to catch up with someone over a rustic and simple breakfast-this is the spot. They also offer smoothies, coffee and baked goods but their breakfast is wholesome and simple. Came by a second time and got the Full Breakfast. Ambience could only be improved by having light music

Visiting the Bushwick neighborhood in Brooklyn, NYC at noon on a Sunday and stumbled across this gem of a restaurant, The Brooklyn Tree. This place is wonderful. The menu is great, offering lunch and brunch. The atmosphere was perfect, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered the Brooklyn Tree Burger and the Meatloaf Sandwich, both with pesto fries. Everything was delicious. Additionally, the staff is extra friendly and helpful, coming out frequently to ensure our experience was the best it could be! If you are in the neighborhood, I highly recommend the Brooklyn Tree!
