I’m from France, been in NY 14 years! Their croissant is very good!!! Trust me I have a hard time finding a good croissant in NY. It opens earlier than any other bakeries in Bushwick too!
I found this lovely little place online, searching for a birthday treat for my daughter. The beauty of internet being able to order most delicious treats from Ireland for her to enjoy in NYC. I’m told all the pastries are delicious, thank you !
My bagel was cold, which was disappointing. Toasting would have helped, but they didn’t offer and I didn’t think of it. I’m visiting from CA and I was looking forward to a good New York bagel, but this wasn’t it. It’s a cute vintage place. Crummy music.
Don’t get the bubble tea at this place I was given one for free by my friend who paid for it, and it tasted very watered down, sewer sludge flavor, extremely disgusting, easily the worst bubble tea I’ve ever had and I don’t think it contained any actually brewed tea in it. Please remove it from your menu or replace it with ACTUAL bubble tea. Thank You!
Ordered a baby shower custom cake for my daughter 2 weeks in advance texted an exact Image of how i wanted the cake to look they said they can do it i paid 2 weeks in advance in full. A few days before the event i texted and the lady said she would go in and see if the cake was going to be done so idk if they forgot and she went in to remind them or if they made it two weeks ago when i paid for it because it taste dry and like freezer not to mention the cake started melting immediately the decorations on it started slipping and falling off My husband and my father went to pick up the cake and bring it to the venue and when i saw the cake i was upset the color wasn't the color i wanted i requested a 2 tier cake the cake I received was 2 round cakes stacked on tops of each other. The top layer was vanilla and the bottom was chocolate. It was melting and we had to start cutting the cake before we had a huge mess on the cake table so everyone had cake while eating food and most of it went to waste.i was so upset you would have thought it was ice cream cake When we cut into it and shared it out i wanted to try a piece of both the vanilla was dry and had no flavor whatsoever and the chocolate was also so dry the chocolate truffle inside taste frozen it was a disaster luckily I made mason jar cakes and all her treats were made by me. It was either they made it last minute or had it sitting in the freezer for 2 weeks. The staff were really nice but I won’t be ordering another custom cake from them.I haven’t tried or tasted anything else from the bakery so I can’t speak for the other cakes, pastries etc.

I’ve been coming to Bagel Pub at this location for +12 years. They have the best bagels in my opinion in Park Slope. Over Bagel World, La Bagel, Terrace Bagels, Bagel Hole, etc. They also have the largest ones. Some other ones are maybe 70% or 60% the size. While I have seen the price go up over the years. A bagel used to cost $1 flat including tax but now a single loose bagel 🥯 costs over $2. But cost aside, they have the largest and best bagels in the slope. Good place to catch up with a friend for coffee. My go-to bagel is the whole wheat sesame.

I have been remiss in rating UK, U.S., & Manhattan food providers but not the consistently great stalwart Bushwick Bakery only 400 feet from where I live (this facility also provides liver treats to my Pug who helped in encouraging my belated review).
As my family has frequented Bushwick Bakery frequently over the last five years, I will not dwell on any particular item but rather the overall consistently quality of the baked goods delivered on a day to day basis at a reasonable cost.

interesting bakery that’s always busy. Their baguettes are definitely not your usual expectation of a french baguette. It’s not pointy and doesn’t have a hard crust. It’s not bad but just maybe not of everyone’s liking. Their pastry are gorgeous. I like their cinnamon roll but petition for a no/light frosting option. The frostussy really make it hard to consume it neatly.
My girlfriend and I got Just Salad for the first time tonight and it was fantastic! We got two vegan quinoa bowls and we couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. So tasty! Also - the staff was so warm and welcoming tonight (March 2nd)! They deserve recognition for how great they were! We can’t wait to come back!

Came here for a late brunch with a friend because the menu said it had fresh juice smoothies and pancakes. I wanted to feel slightly healthy by getting a green juice but still wanted fluffy pancakes. The menu was expansive so my eyes became bigger than my stomach and I ordered

I ended up splitting the pancakes with my friend but we both left feeling satiated and stuffed. There was a little draft with the wind but they had a space heater to keep the space warm. Most people in the restaurant were families and friends enjoying a Sunday brunch. Plus the service was prompt and attentive.

I came in here today and left feeling super disrespected. I was trying to order and the staff behind the counter were sharing personal stories interrupting me from ordering my food. Talking over me to the point where I couldn’t even place my order, they took so long to make my salad because they were all having a conversation. When the guy making my salad asked which dressing I wanted I couldn’t hear him over the incessant talking and he rolled his eyes at me. I’ve never been to an establishment where I felt like I was inconveniencing THEM by being there. lol won’t be coming back. I work at Methodist and my coworkers have had similar interactions with the staff lately. Time to clean house and employ people that actually want to be there.
This place is lovely! It’s spacious with bright energy and the staff are very kind. It’s got an easygoing vibe with a lovely view of the park. The food is so so good and the smoothies are filling and yummy. Easy and wonderful!
Really nice restaurant in Brooklyn and cheap! Rare these days! Walk in, no reservation, opens early. The food is good, ask for their sourdough bread, its tasty. Worth the try!
We came in to order take out last night. There were at least 5 employees in the front area and no customers in line. We waited over 10 minutes and no one greeted us, took our order, or even acknowledged us. We ended up just leaving and going somewhere else. I love Sweetgreens, but this service was trash.
Worst location ever..you claim to be close at 8pm and I walk in there exactly at 7:59 while the forts was still unlock and all they have to tell me is they are close and won’t sell anything even tho I’m inside the store ..they refuse to sell and keep telling me they have to go and want me to leave even tho I said I wanted simple very simple and that I drove half hour to get there..very unprofessional ..they didn’t seem to care and were so eager to leave instead of fulfilling one more order..if you don’t like your job then pick a different career and learn some customer service skills..this location need to do a better job at hiring the proper candidates instead of just hiring people that don’t have any tolerance for what they do since they are so focus on closing time instead of providing some decent customer service.
Enjoyed my pick up order! I didn’t get to take a picture because I ate it so fast lol. I ordered a pick up through Door Dash and it was ready and had everything I ordered. The place was clean, and the workers were kind. My only complaint was that I asked for avocados and was charged almost $3 , but there were 2 cubes of avocado in my order. Idk maybe they weren’t paying attention. For that reason, I think it’s best to place an order in the store so you can watch them make it for you.
The acai bowls tasted all rotten and old. All the fruits were mushy and tasted disgusting. Never had acai bowls so disgusting that nobody was able to finish it. Two of us got stomachache after we left.
Please please please have zero expectations - whether you order from Uber eats or in store (especially Uber eats). They didn’t deliver half the items I ordered and aside from that, everything was wrong. Even after the salad was incorrect and paid items weren’t included, uber said that they couldn’t do anything about it……Horrible customer service - order at you own risk.
This diner got new management about a year ago and totally changed it for the better! The new menu is super delicious diner food + some. They also have $10 cocktails. Service is good! Portions are huge. Wonderful for a casual meal. Curly fries are amazing here! Most entrees are under $15

So many options! this female worker there with a red hat ( not sure of her name) helped me build my salad. She was very sweet and attentive unlike the other workers there. She was very fast and made what I asked for in seconds.

Found this spot by accident after leaving another eatery and wanting something sweet. Well to my surprise as I rounded the corner..I saw this bakery. This is a small spot with seating outdoors (which is great with warmer weather). Inside is small but charming. I ordered a slice of pumpkin pie and hot chocolate and loved it. The hot chocolate needed to be much hotter (was lukewarm) but it did taste delicious…
After spending the whole day trying to figure out where to get a turkey burger, I stopped by Bareburger to try it out for the first time. I ordered a lunch special that was around $17. It came with the turkey burger, fries, and a drink. I order the lemonade which was freshly squeezed so I enjoyed that! The burger was a filling size for me and the patty was cooked well. I really liked the fries. They give you a good amount!!

Earlier today, Lismarie served me and my husband poblanos and it was delicious!!! She was very attentive & accommodated both our orders in our liking. Would definitely come back ;)
Excellent, good old fashioned diner food & atmosphere! Service was great, food selection was abundant, & everything the four of us ordered was served quickly, hot & delicious! The coffee was fantastic and the menu is huge with something for everyone. I highly recommend! Three of us had breakfast menu items, with one vegetarian option, & one of us had a turkey burger and fries. We all enjoyed our meal.

I normally love sweetgreen. I tried this location and the salad was awful: it was almost entirely kale with few of the other ingredients, kale was dried out, not nearly enough dressing, and overall is very low quality ingredients compared to other sweet greens I used to go to regularly
By far the worst Sweetgreen location. I’ve ordered twice from here for delivery and both times they got the order completely wrong. As someone who has worked 2 fast food jobs, I can confirm that the job is extremely easy. Staff is just careless. When they see an order for a chicken bowl, it’s baffling how they can forget the chicken both times (in addition to forgetting other key ingredients)

I wana try the whole menu. I thought It would have normal diner stuff and it does but just better. And the prices are right. Like 1/2 the menu is stuff below 12$. Today was my first time having just salad from this location and I am pleased with my experience. My meal was amazing thanks to Lismarie :) I would definitely order from here again.
Solid diner, came a bit early so was able to walk in but had to sit in the space in the back cause it was already full in the front! No problem though, it was cozy haha. Food was good, a hearty portion that came out pretty quickly and service was really nice!
Food is good kind of expense but is worth it, the places vives is really nice the make the crapes in front of you so is fresh the dressing for the salad is my favorite, cookies and donuts are not horrible but they have a lot better stuff like the açaí bowl for summer
Ordered online, they didn't call me and did not give me the salmon I paid extra for. I ordered the spicy broccoli and it was mostly stalks. I ordered the roasted sweet potatoes and they tasted burnt. They didn't call to mention that they were scraping the bottom of the pans I guess. If you really want sweetgreen, pick a different one.
Nice place, loved the deco! One of the main reasons I visit Bareburger is the fries with asiago and truffle 🤤 and Boylan Cane Cola 🙌🏻. Wings were good too and the personal was very attentive

Placed an order with DoorDash for chicken Caesar salad and the chicken was missing. How do you forget the main ingredient in the salads name? DoorDash didn’t allow me to choose main ingredient missing because it has faith in a restaurant to not miss it. So I got partial credit refund for this. Unacceptable.
I ordered take out and it was ready at exactly the time they said. They packed the smoothly very carefully so that it would not spill! Thank you to the chef and staff at Pure Bistro!
Please update your hours to reflect what time you stop serving food, I arrived to this location at 9:30pm (closing time listed as 10pm) and already I was told that they were not serving food anymore. It's completely understandable that the staff wants to go home on time and that they might need 30 minutes to clean up. Please just list those adjusted hours from when they stop serving food so people are aware and don't waste their time

Was so excited to have a sweetgreen a few blocks away but this has to be the worst location I’ve ever been to. Every single delivery order I’ve received has either been extremely late, been missing key ingredients (like chicken..), missing one whole salad, or have received someone else’s order entirely. Orders are typically fine if you order in-store, but not without being met with some of the rudest staff. Zero attempt to be friendly or even make eye contact with you while you order. Salads are still excellent but consistently bad experiences with this location.

This honestly tasted great it was like a healthier chipotle! This create your own bowl consisted of sweet potato, onions,beats, tomatoes, blackened chicken, cabbage, goat cheese, toast, za’atar chips, lemon, wild rice, quinoa. Very tasteful!!

Best bagels in Brooklyn. I stopped in early Sunday morning on my way to JFK and it hit the spot. Every time I’m in the area, I’m grabbing a half dozen.
This burger place was amazing. So quiet and peaceful. Grabbed a quick lunch with my partner and we enjoyed every bite of our burger. They use organic ingredients which is a plus for us as we use organic at home. I had a Soco and my partner had a chicken sandwich. Review the photos below I promise you won’t regret eating here!

Kimberly’s ability to remember my preferences and serve me promptly is truly impressive. Her friendly and welcoming attitude keeps me coming back. Kimberly is a key reason why Just Salad remains my top choice for an enjoyable meal.

Lovely employees. I had great service with a young man during a pretty busy hour. However, management has terrible attitudes towards their employees. On a prior visit, I witnessed an employee being screamed at in front of customers. Very unprofessional. In a separate instance my order was passed off to another employee, Lucy, who seemed very passive aggressive and uninterested in serving me. Not only that, but she continuously interrupted the employee taking my order to “correct” them, although there was nothing wrong. The final straw that led me to writing this review was the food itself. It was very subpar, and despite being advertised as a ‘clean eating’ salad business, the food left me with the same heavy-feeling and stomach ache as a hamburger from a fast food joint, and that was the result of a salad with NO dressing! Prices are EXTREMELY high for something that is as good quality as a McDonald’s Big Mac. As someone who has visited this location enough times, I can safely say I will NOT be coming back here.

Lovely, small cafe is known for their unique crepes and healthy foods . My favorite dish here is savory crepes. Good for desserts, breakfast, lunch and healthy snacking. A beautiful flower wall décor would be nice for selfie or Instagram posts.

I love just salad. I eat it a lot, its delicious and I really appreciate their environmentally friendly bowls and cutlery so I thought it was about time that I left a review. Yaritza served me this evening and she was fantastic, both efficient and friendly. I will be back again and again.
One of my favorite bagels place in the neighborhood. I been coming here for years and since the renovations the place looks really nice (cleaner) they did a really good job, also they have a backyard and all the staff is friendly. There’s many choices of cream cheese’s and bake goods, also the wraps are really good. Coffee is a little strong but I like it that way. My favorite thing to order is the Lox #1 with pumpernickel bagel is always on point (order that you won’t regret it), love it!

The bagel would be perfect if the texture was more chewy and denser. Giant size which could hardly be grabbed by one hand! Girls with smaller appetite (like me) would be satisfied after eating just half of it.
Onion bagel has a prettier round bagel shape and smells alluring after toasted. While egg everything bagel is less desirable (looks more like a sandwich). The roasted garlic on top unfortunately doesn’t enhance the overall taste.
Cream Cheese:
Generous layer of tofu veggie cream cheese yet it was a bit too greasy for me. Instead, the amount of bacon chipotle cream cheese was adequate to reach a perfect balance. A bit spicy but acceptable for me.
My Recommendations:

I usually get their Acai bowls and I love them, i've tried other places in the neighborhood but I feel like this spot gives you more fruit and almond butter than the others 😆, the waiting time is also fair and the staff is attentive.
The buffalo salad was delicious. The greens tasted fresh and the chicken was great. They add a decent amount of protein with a correct amount of buffalo sauce not to over power the rest of the flavors in the bowl. The bowl was a bit pricey but worth it in my opinion can’t wait to try another salad or build my own soon.
This is your friendly neighborhood diner, with some really amazing coffee. Turns out the coffee comes from Variety Cafe, and you can taste the deliciousness. The service was friendly and quick. The food was great! Super high quality, fresh and tasty.

They have really yummy and healthy options of breakfast and satisfying 2 for $12 mimosas. I love my sweet potato home fries. The vibe here is pretty chill and laid back. Will come back again!
This spot has great ambiance and great staff. Jayleen took care of my salad and took into consideration my allergies! She recommend me the Thai Chicken Crunch. When I say she made me the best salad I have ever had in my entire life! AMAZING I appreciate that so much. It was so fresh tasty & clean. 10/10 RECOMMEND!!

Ordered a salad for pick up. The salad was sad. To pay $10 for a salad like this is not okay. A side salad from most places has more. You can even go to a bodega and get a better salad. Never again. Customer service was fine that’s why I would give two stars

Dropped in to grab bagels and a few sandwiches to start the day. Staff was courteous and food was ready in minutes. Good bagels and an impressive collection of crème cheese flavors that make it look more like a gelatoria than bagel shop. All around a good experience and everyone’s order (all 8) where on point. Just got Uber eats from here first time and they sent me these completely burnt, dry croissants. How do you even send this out?? Its not edible.

I went in to order a bacon egg and cheese on a roll salt pepper and ketchup a coffee and OJ was $9- 0.50 if you use a card they are nice very professional the food is very good they have some seating very nice place
I was early for my Apple Store appointment, so I walked around the neighborhood and stumbled upon sweetgreen❤️. I’m usually in search of the best burger in Brooklyn, but after eating one of sweetgreens’ big, healthy, delicious salads, I was happy and satiated and so so proud of myself for eating something healthy instead of a greasy burger. The servers that helped me, Ossirrus and Jaya, were so patient, polite and friendly- they explained how many items were included in the meal and the variety of items and meals they had. I was in salad heaven! They have so many healthy delicious items! The establishment was clean, the staff was awesome and the general vibe of this place is really cool and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back for more salads❤️
Immediately sat on a Saturday morning. We ended up here because all the surrounding places were full. It ended up being a happy surprise, And the prices are great! The menu is definitely health focus, sweet potato and turkey bacon options. We got juices and ice cold Matcha lattes it was a hit for our hungry group. I thought the juice should have had more ginger but that’s ok.
Sweetgreen is normally good- I like the options.

Been goin here nearly every week. They make one of the best melt-in-your-mouth Steak Paninis I’ve tried, medium rare (even compared to places in Australia & UK where they know steak). I also recommend their Steak Quesadilla - tender steak chunks, avocado, cheese and amazingly light & crispy taco.
My husband likes their Grilled Buffalo Chicken Bites and the massive Pure Burger. Summer Salad with side of Salmon was fresh and well made with huge chunks of mango & feta. Breakfasts are great too!

This was my first time trying this place and my salad was amazing. I ordered thru ubereats and it came within a reasonable amount of time. It was such a filling salad with a good portion of everything. It was so good I barely put any salad dressing on it because honestly it didn't need it. Would definitely buy again.
I called my order in (2 BLTs on rolls) and asked when it would be ready. I was told by a woman "10 minutes" and arrived there in about 15 minutes. Then I waited on line for 7-10 minutes and was told my order was still being made, so I stepped to the side. After another 10 minutes I asked about my order again. This time the people behind the counter all started talking to each other and a woman walked over to another counter on the side and handed it to the person at the register. Apparently, it was sitting there the whole time!
The BLT was good, the service not so much. No one was rude, they were all polite. However, my order should have been clearly labeled and at the counter by the register not somewhere on the side getting cold. Also, making someone stand on a long line after they called their order in is inefficient from a business perspective and annoying for the customer. Have a separate line for phone orders or simply ask if someone ordered already and just needs to pay. They are always busy because the food is good (which is why I gave them 3 stars), so it would be a shame to loose customers due to time management issues (which is why I didn't give them 4 stars).

The place was once a local cutie jem but now it has cheap plastic decor, plastic everything, service guys try to do well but something is off about this place but most importantly the food became meh. I will not recommend unless you need asap bite.
Not happy with that little guy who works there, he’s always wanna to touch customers and shake their hands and it’s just too much. Also prices are different every day, one day wrap costs $9 , the other day it’s $11 - exact same thing. The food is good, I love their bagels, but they have to change their menu and update prices.
Three decker diner is a classic diner with the best coffee in Brooklyn. The guys who created variety coffee took over the diner and remodeled the space and revamped the menu. The new interior is beautiful and the food hasn’t changed much aside from some additional Tex-Mex Treats. Very busy on the weekends but there are plenty of cool shops nearby to visit while you wait.
When it comes to salad I’m very picky and honestly I only like certain salad mixes. Genesis minier in park slope is The Best! She kindly helped me to choose the best salad. Elizabeth on the cash register also was very helpful, she kindly carried my food to my table outside the store. Store is very clean and they have lovely staff. They fallow the COVID-19 regulations and do their best to keep us safe. You can order online and pick it up by the door easily. I would recommend this location after a long day in the hospital, great way to have a healthy dinner and relax a little. Thank you Genesis Minier and Elizabeth. Stay safe
These guys are great! The service was nice and the staff welcoming. The price was good as well. Avenue U Bagels had Bagels, rolls and hero. Plus other different food to order. Avenue U Bagels has it and fresh. These guys are good and I'm definitely going back. Clean and friendly.
Their waffles, they call it, Leige waffles. Are out of this world good!!! They're so delicious!!! Soft chewy, sweet......DELICIOUS!!! I've tried it with a few different toppings, all were really good. But it's the waffle itself that is the star. So good!
Sweet green is literally the best. All their ingredients are always fresh and delicious. The bowls on their menu are always an amazing combination of flavors. Even though it does hurt to spend about $13 on a salad, the pain quickly goes away when you're staring at a gigantic bowl trying to figure out how you're going to finish it in one sitting. Always worth the wait 👏🏻
Cute bakery with great bread and sandwiches. The smell of fresh baking in the morning is always nice. They have good coffee and two tables to sit at inside and a few outside. The pastries are usually high quality and I really like their banana Nutella croissant and the almond croissant.

Bagel Pub makes the best bagels in the hood, IMO. The are just the right size. Not so large that the center is a bit raw. Not so small that you feel you are not getting your money’s worth. Get The Hulk, best green smoothie with pineapple, greens, mango, and coconut water. Yum. Vegan spreads, too. I give he Blueberry Bagel 💯 out of 💯. Eat it plain and if you go there early enough, it’s hot! Nice staff. Always moving and filling orders.
I go here regularly with my kids. The frozen yogurt tastes fresher and more home-made than other places I've been to. The interior of this place has a funky, inviting vibe. There are breakfast and lunch options including freshly-made crepes with both savory and sweet options.
I stopped by here on my way home from Europe. I've been eating at restaurants for the past 3 weeks and I'm a food snob anyway. So I was expecting to be settling when I came in here. But this place was effortlessly amazing! Friendly staff and notable community feel amongst the patrons. Very diverse offerings, from fancy coffees and savory bagel sandwiches to fresh juices and salads with topping for every palate. The place was clean and large and the ordering/paying process was obviously well thought out because it felt organized and this allowed me to THINK while ordering. With such a rich menu, this is an invaluable factor because I hate feeling rushed and pressured to decide only because they have only one guy taking orders and preparing food and taking payment. Here, everyone seemed to competently handle their part of the process!
