Empanadas Monumental

I recommend it to everyone. It’s a great place to eat.

Food was mid/regular. And the delivery guy charged me $1 per minute once his delivery started and ended. Ended up paying $27 for a $13 plate and rest for every min they took to get to me.
Never ordering from here again.

The food is okay?.
The service SUCKS.
I always have to call to pick up because they always have extremely long wait times. I waited 45 minutes for my food to be ready. only wait there for an additional 20 minutes. Like an hour for empanadas is RIDICULOUS!

The food is very bland and disgusting 🤢. First off the chicken empanadas are dry like it’s a big chunk of dry balled up chicken inside remind me of the can chicken. The shrimp empanadas had over cooked shrimp inside very dry and we ordered a pork empanada they gave us chicken and cheese and that literally came with the smallest amount of chicken and cheese. I wouldn’t come back to this place, I have better empanadas from a restaurant whose main dish isn’t empanadas. If your an empanadas restaurant your empanadas should be good. Definitely go back to the drawing board on those empanadas!

The service is pretty terrible, I will never go back. The place is not the cleanest either and they have a grimy fridge that you can barely see through so I asked if they had Monster drink and the rude employee responded with “we have just what you see in the fridge”. My family of 6 was there that day and I spent about $30, one of my daughters ordered a pork empanada only to be given some weird pizza/pepperoni/cheese one. Trying to get ahold of the employees is not easy since they just go in the back to talk unless you’re ordering. Once she came I asked her if this empanada was pork, without even looking at the contents the response was “yes, I took it from here (as she pointed to a particular spot) so it’s the right one” when I turned to my daughter to ask if she wanted to switch it, the employee was gone once more and I had to call her back. I asked if I could switch it because it didn’t taste the way it should, she said “it’s pork sir, that’s what I gave you, but I’ll switch it” So I picked a different empanada and she informed me that it would be a $1 difference. I paid the $1 and told her the service was pretty poor here, to which she replied in a very snarky manner “the owner is here if you would like to speak to her” and my response was no thanks, I just won’t come here again.

Owner is a great person . Very nice and great empanadas great smoothies of Dominican batidas .

Had a great time grabbing a bite at this Dope spot. The owners and workers make you feel right at home with their hospitality. The food is delicious. Recommend this spot if you looking to get some nice Dominican fast food(frituras). Try their natural juices you won’t regret it ;).
