I engaged Ahmad Shaheen’s services at Redwood Immigration in order to receive Certificates of Citizenship for my two daughter’s. To be honest, when I first met him, I was a little worried because of his young age. However, he quickly proved to be very knowledgeable, efficient and professional. His manner is impeccably polite. I would highly recommend his services to anyone. Let me explain my situation. I have dual American and Canadian citizenship (through my Canadian mother) and both my daughters were born out of Canada. Another immigration service doubted their claim to Canadian citizenship due to changes made to the immigration law in 2009. Ahmad immediately recognized their claim after carefully reading the law. As my older daughter had applied to UBC and was hoping to pay the tuition fee for a Canadian student (which is less than 20 percent of the international students’ fee), the time frame was very tight. I had heard that we could expect to wait for six to ten months. Ahmad made a very professional presentation with all the documents and a very detailed and compelling cover letter explaining that we needed to expedite the procedure. He submitted the documents in late February and I was very worried that we would not get the Certificate of Citizenship (or if my daughters would even qualify) before September when my daughter had to pay tuition. To my astonishment, within three weeks we received the Certificate of Citizenship for both girls! Governments are not known to move fast. His presentation and appeal to expedite must have been very compelling. We are extremely grateful to Ahmad at Redwood Immigration and I give his services the highest possible recommendation.
