Nice little airport but we went there for JP's barbecue. They had a Mother's Day buffet it was great.
My grandson loves airplanes, so we have been visiting airfields to watch planes take off and land. I can only rate Bolton Field based on this type of visit.
The woman at the desk was friendly and helpful, giving us information on where we could go to observe and what to expect to see today.
The observation area is limited, looking through bars, which makes seeing far to either side difficult.
We did get to see two helicopters come in, which is a unique experience for us, but they land behind buildings that block our view.
We were there too early in the morning to visit JP's. It opens at 11:00 am.

Great airport, not busy and the tower controllers are very accommodating of student pilots.

We had an event there today, and Carol and her staff were fantastic, conscientious of Corona regs, and made it a wonderful time! It wasn't our first event there, and won't be our last! Thank you so much!
Great Location. Great location for student pilots learning to fly without the pressures of larger airfields in the area.
