Very nice trail. But, for any other newcomers to the area, like myself, it is badly flooded right now (Feb. 3rd 2024), in the area between Langford Lake Park, and the long boardwalks.
Too many dogs off leash and trash everywhere
Lovely trail and lovely walk.
This is a very peaceful trail to walk along, with the end of the trail at the beach area of Langford Lake. There is also a good-sized parking lot a little further along the road. The trail has lots of places to stop along the water, with some boardwalks and docks that are accessible.
This end of the trial offers little parking. There is some by the beach and more about 5 min up Leigh road. It is a nice lake trail (no hills). The other end is a Goldstream Ave where there is some parking.
Lots of joggers and dogwalkers use the trail so it is quite busy.
Dogbag dispensers at each end of the trail - which City of Langford keeps up with. Grabage bin at this end as well.
Great swimming and fishing along the trail in #LangfordLake. It is a clean lake and is stocked with fish.
