Wasaga Rentals

My recent stay at Wasaga Beach was extremely disappointing. The room was unsanitary, with dirty couches and a lack of cleanliness. Additionally, our neighbors in the next cabin caused excessive noise until the early morning, preventing us from getting any sleep. The hotel manager made a promise to address these issues but failed to follow through.

After staying at Costas Wasaga for 2 nights I can confidently advise others to pick another place to host any of their events. The owner of the cabins caused my group numerous inconveniences and took a month before agreeing to return our security deposit (not the full amount). Prior to arriving to Costas we were told the entire ground would be reserved for us. When we arrived, we only had 6/9 cottages, which was not enough space for our group and caused many of us to sleep in uncomfortable areas due to lack of space. Also, showers only had cold water and poor plumbing. Only one stove worked and the other cottages only contained one mattress and the expectation that guests would sleep on the floor. I would not recommend these cabins to anyone.

The worst experience ever. Waste of money. Owner is very unprofessional and causes many inconveniences, owner especially takes advantage when dealing with kids so be careful. She will not give the deposit back, and when asked for it back, she ignores texts and calls. One small cabin was missing a mattress. Bugs in the cabins, not enough bathrooms for the amount of guests, showers only had freezing cold water and bathrooms appeared sticky and dirty. The only good thing about this place is the beautiful cleaning lady, and the security guard. Other than that, I would not waste another cent of my money to support this place.

We rented this place for our kids for their prom weekend. It was a nightmare! We were over charged, they were not able to check-in on time, when they were finally able to check-in one cottage had a non working bathroom, which we were told was going to be fixed and that they would move them to another cottage once the occupants left the next day. That never happened. It wasn’t complied with until 8pm the next day. When trying to contact the owners they ignored our calls until we threatened to write a bad review and take legal action against them. We had 3 cottages and 4 bunkies and none of the cottages had working hot water. No a/c in the bunkies. You need to bring your own propane to use the bbqs. We were told we would be refunded our deposit and a agreed upon amount for the lack of bathroom in the one cottage. It took them forever to comply with this. Then they tried to say that our kids clogged the toilets and left the place messy. Thank god we took videos of each place before they left and it was much cleaner then when they got there. The customer service from this company is horrible. Be careful if you decide to book here! Especially if it’s for your kids they will take advantage!

There were bugs in the rooms, and not enough washrooms for the amount of people staying there. An absolute nightmare, would not waste your time or money with this place. A friend of mine got a bad rash on their rear end from sitting on the couch. There was no hot water, which makes this place even more horrible. DONT COME HERE.

Cabins 1,2,3,4,8 were all a fair size but 5,6,7 were all very small with no bathrooms in those. Also some were expected to sleep on a mattress on the floor in order to sleep 4 people in 5 and 7 but for the price and how close it is to the beach it was fair. Some of the appliances don't really work so don't bet on microwaving or using the BBQ. Overall, decent little spot, fair pricing and very nice owners and staff.

I live in one of the 1 bedroom cottages for the winter and i could not be happier. It is the perfect size for 2 people as well as very quiet and peaceful but close to town and the beach. The place was alittle dusty but otherwise wonderful. The owner and his employees are amazing to work with and quickly fixes any problems or concerns that rise. It is also very affordable for this area. I am very happy living here and i suggest it for stays for everyone.
