Great experience, we will be booking our 3rd consecutive year in the next week!
Had the pleasure of going out with Captain Wesley Hallman and Dauphin Island Fishing Charter not too long ago. We had a great all around experience! Great conversation, great customer service (food, drinks and cleaning fish) and of course, great conversation during the day. It really felt as if we were out fishing with a long time friend. Wonderful day of fishing! Wes is genuinely a great guy and captain! Great with our kids and just patient and laid back all around. We caught several fish including flounder, trout, and red fish. The ultimate catch was a 45 min long battle with the Jack fish! We will definitely be back next year to fish with Wes! We highly recommend his services! We thank you for a wonderful experience. Capt Wes grew up fishing these waters and is very knowledgeable about them. He’s really patient with kids and makes the charter fun for everyone. He always makes sure you bring some fish home!
Wes took myself and 3 young kids. He was very patient and produced good fishing. We booked several days before arriving thru Finatics and I received a confirmation and called them the night before just to ask a few questions and they told me at 7 PM they would not be able to take us. Please do not book through Finatics. I called Wes and he was very gracious to take us out after his first morning trip. Thanks again Wes!
This is the guy you want to fish with. He knows where they all hang out. Four of us booked a 6 hour inshore trip with Wes. We all had so much fun, even the inexperienced ones! Caught 15 speckled trout and the elusive tripletail. We had a great time and would definitely book again.
A great time was had by all. The kids will never forget this fishing charter and neither will I. We are coming back to Dauphin Island soon. Thanks
