Many activities, games and books.
My son really likes the real helicopter

Firstly, the library was easy to locate as its by the road and has about three entrances.
Also, the shelves are well arranged with different sectional topics of books.
I love it.

Parking in the SW lot says "visitor parking maximum 30 min" but it is always been full as of recent. No security nir parking enforcement in place so I always get to park there for 60min+ without incident and is soo much closer to doors. I recommend everyone and their dog park here- there's no consequences so don't worry! Even the spaces marked "Permit Required- Childcare Drop-off 15min Max" sees the same car parked here when I leave so they've been here longer me (a 30 minuter) NO ENFORCEMENT- WHO CARES? Insult to injury- handicap spot is by claimed by someone who parked and RAN inside. What a comedy show

I love this library. It's very kid and family-friendly. To all the people complaining about the teenagers who hang out here: Teenagers really don't have a lot of places that are welcoming to them, especially places that are free. Too many people have attitudes like yours and see teenagers as a nuisance. Personally, I'm glad to see teenagers hanging out in a library. I can think of a million worse things that they could be doing then studying, playing, talking, and picking up books.

If you do require absolute silence, there's this newfangled invention called noise canceling headphones. Works wonders at blocking unwanted noise.

Glorified playground trying to pass off as a library. Sure, borrow books, but good luck trying to get any peace reading them, let alone study. The quiet study rooms are not adequately insulated to keep out the noise.

Very popular location in South East Calgary, houses YMCA, daycare and Calgary Public Library beside a small coffee shop. YMCA here has an Olympic size swimming pool and few splash, small pools for professional and recreation programs. It has facilities FOR indoor ICE hockey, rooms that can be booked for yoga, martal art, etc.
You won't feel trapped in a complex as it's very airy and open yet inddor.
Best of all they have an actual helicopter in the library :)

Very nice and clean place, it has many learning resources that you can access at this location or at home through their website and your library card. I find it very convenient that there is a YMCA right in the same building, in case one wants to do some physical activities.
