Community mall with a long history and "that" iconic domed roof over the Metro (formerly Dominion) and thus some "historic" value. There's a Dollarama, a surprisingly super modern Gabby's, and some decent boba spot. The Hakka No.1 Restaurant here is also worth visiting! Lots of parking, though nothing overly exciting in the mall as is.
I love it, all my favorite stores are available except value village and No frills
Attention to Parkway Mall Management. Your kart town tenant owner is very rude and he shouldn't be around kids.
This library for environment perspective it deserved 5 star, however, front desk staff attitude is very very bad, even don’t know how to communicate with customer, whenever you ask some paper something for toddler, service is very bad, hope manager notice this issue seriously.
Best place to read books and a friendly environment.
Computers were down when I went but staff was very rude. I went to another nearby library where staff was able to help me.
Beautifully renovated, great selection, pleasant staff. I'd classify it as a "medium size"
Library is great only suggestion is to update their books also would like them to have more current books on things such as AI , where there is no books .. about it . overall nothing much to say .. GOOD STANDARD ! keep it up
A small shopping village
Newly renovated library. For its size, it has everything you need. Really comfy chairs and tons of natural light. It's definitely one of the nicer libraries in the city

People don't respect the silent study room, people are talking to each other by loudly whispering. Others simply dont know
This library is a great place for everyone, it's a huge library for the surrounding area, and has tons of books. The staff are great overall, and I had no issues really. This library has a lot of computers compared to other neighbouring branches, which is nice, but at times it does get busy where most computers are taken. One thing I wished this library had was space for more silent rooms, since I notice, some of the same people daily hog the silent rooms right at 0900, like seriously I have seen people running to get the silent rooms. LOL. However, a great place for kids and families, and the library staff are helpful and knowledgeable too. They don't have color printers by the way, only the the Toronto Reference Library near Downtown Toronto has it. Also, the library has a lot of programs for kids (reading, singing, games), teens (school-related, games in the Teens Room), adults. I think they also have held Finanicial sessions, Real Estate (House, Mortgage), Microsoft Office, Languages sessions in the past. It's a great place for newcomers as well. Do attend this place if you are nearby :)
I came to work to the Port Credit Library twice in the past two months. It's a beautiful place, nice building with a nice view over the park. However, the library is very noisy, at least it was both times I came in during regular work hours on week days. People don't really care about the noise they make, use their mobile phones, and kids speak out loud, etc. The staff while being very friendly isn't very mindful of their volume either...
So not the best place to come for a peaceful and quiet read/study/work session.

A rather large library that has 5 floors within the North York Centre mall.
There are many floors of just books and I assume there's other materials that you can borrow as well. There are what seems to be multiple computer labs/areas. There is a chill and study areas. There is a eLearning lab, a Fabrication Studio (lots of sewing machines in the room), and an Digital Innovation Hub. There are rooms that I think you can book to use for things like meetings or group projects etc. There is also a kid play area.

Spacious, clean environment. Lots of books on different subjects, computers also available to visitors.
My favorite place is here. You can find a variety of activities tailored to your needs. It has three levels. The lowest level is dedicated to kids and teens. The staff is very friendly and informative. This library offers many services, including self-checkout, study rooms, computers, a study hall, and the highlight, a makerspace.
Beautiful small Stanstead village. The library is right on the boarder. Canadian is allowed to go to the main entrance of the library by walking through the pave way but not on the road. Few stones are stand there as the boarder….
Very poorly designed layout. Not a library conducive to quiet work or studying. Shame because its in such a beautiful location with the park and river just outside. Quiet study rooms are literally right beside the children's play area where kids are screaming. Not sure who thought this was a good idea. No group tables or even single tables either, just chairs shoved in the little spaces around the perimeter.
WAAAAY, WAAAAAY, WAY, COOL!!!! You will get a yelling at for horsing around at the border, however the yelling at is a must!!!

The location is good but the way how it is design does not allow a quiet studying. since you can hear children playing, reception staffs talking to each other and even to customers. Bottom line this is definitely not a quiet room for concentrating in your reading or studying.

I had problem to find the right website to get the record of my covid vaccines.
I am going to travel to Peru and I need to print that document.
I approached to the counter to ask for help. Miss Kelly was very helpful, she suggested different ways to access the right website. She appeared like an angel.

Very friendly staff that helps you find the resources you need. Bathrooms are not very clean though.
Peaceful/ great View from library
I live walking distance from this branch and visit couple of times a month, usually during weekdays. During summer it is quite not many people, during school season, can see many kids utilizing the facility.
I used to get DVDS of movies, how-to instructional videos as well as books and magazines. They have good collections in this branch, with five floors. Lately I have been exploring Eastern spirituality, but the selection is not quite limited, unless you are interested in Zen or Buddhism.
This location has been renovated recently with dedicated private rooms, crafting and 3D printing facilities etc. The ground floor has nice area for toddlers/kids to explore and play.

We visit on an almost daily basis. Large play area for the kids with lots to do. Friendly staff and well maintained given there’s so many kids there everyday.
I would recommend adding more security as there was a big man carrying a gun around last week. The library had to close down due to the incident and it would be more reassuring for a regular visitor like myself to see added security to ensure safety.

I'm glad to learn that the mall has a library.
Being a local I was excited that the PC location was finally open again.
Unfortunately the Quiet study rooms are not quiet. They are next to the children's area.. I notified an employee that it was very loud and asked if there were quieter study rooms somewhere - like the meeting rooms just outside. But the meeting rooms are holding storage at the moment and nothing was done about the screaming kids, who were drumming couches and toys.
My partner and I had to leave, coffee shops are much more quiet then this library.
Sadly do not recommend for any afternoon visits, if concentration is the goal.

When we travel, we like to find local oddities to visit. The Haskell Free Library and Opera House definitely met our criteria. When I told my 11 year old that I wanted to visit a library on vacation I was met with a "are you crazy mom?!" and "WHY?!" I asked him when was the last time you were able to stand in two countries at once? Reluctantly, he went with me and we had fun looking at books in both English and French as well as standing on either side of the border. This is such a wonderful historical place to visit and the staff was very knowledgeable. I know it's in the name, but it's FREE!

in 2016 I came up here exploring the library and the legendary piece of tape that acts as a invisible border. I was able to film a little around the library including walk around the public library. Such a beautiful area, I think they removed the flower pots shortly after that. This place is a true connection between the towns from US to Canada. If you do enough research you will discover that borders are unlawful, we live in 2023 people. If I want to visit my family and friends in Canada I should have that right to do so. I feel so sorry for the town of Derby as many business shutdown because no one wants to be watched by US BORDER PATROL. by the I love the Canadian Border Patrol very kind and gentle and we even spoke french... I don't trust the government and we need to keep this beautiful library alive, willing to donate money... Knowledge is the keeper in our lives!

Good place for students and everyone
Unfortunately, some people who live in out of York Region can book study-rooms easily. I know a middle-aged man (over 50) who lives in North York (Yonge and Sheppard) that always books and occupies study-rooms and tries to intervene in the library’s regularity despite not having a library card. He does not have a card because he knows very well in case he shows his identity card, his ineligibility for membership will be revealed due to his home address. He in fact abuses the rights of the real members through this way.
I was very disappointed that after renovation they removed half of the English books and replaced them with French books that are not really interesting. Now I have to buy English books.
The library has a lot of stories. Joined the tour for the visit. Highly recommended.

Pour définir cet établissement, une bibliothèque publique ne serait pas tout à fait exact. Plus exact serait de dire la bibliothèque est devenue un centre communauté / garderie qui s'adresse aux parents et leurs enfants. L'endroit est très bruyant avec peu ou pas de contrôle des niveaux de bruit, que ce soit de la part des responsables de la bibliothèque ou des parents eux-mêmes. J'ai beau payer mes taxes municipales, cela ne signifie pas que je peux profiter de la paix et de la tranquillité qui vient normalement avec une bibliothèque publique.

Just want to share my experince in Cedarbrae public library. I visited the Cedarbrae library with my son for rock painting event on 2nd June 2023. After his rock painting done he asked the staff. If he can take his Painting and rock painted by him to him. At this the Library staff replied yes you can take this (mess )to your home .I was speechless what words she used with kids . I was so heartbroken and my kid is so innocent he come to me and said moms this is mess . I really appreciate if the staff please mind full with your words . They are so young and they patiently watch what adults are doing . Was not at all excepting this in the library. please it is my humble request to be kind and mindful with words as the kids are so innocent and they take every word really seriously . Thank you.
Honestly the coolest Toronto public Library I been in. A lot of room has piano room but it requires to be booked in advance. Overall nice vibe and chill.
Very grand and well-designed facility. It is a great place to study after school because there are many seats with plugs near them. There is an elevator available if you are too lazy to climb up 5 flights of stairs to reach the top floor.
🥉I really liked the atmosphere but I expect more quite zone space for people who need to work in silent. The small quite zone was also full of people who talked to each other.
🥉 The other disadvantage was opening and close hour which was from 9 to 20:30 and no night shifts so many people who work during the day can't use this place

I had bad experiences in this library. People talked loudly while the librarians didn't do their jobs, both of the parties love freedom, free to talk, free of responsibilities. What the librarians did is to put up notice on walls, which is good but not enough. They need to interrupt people who don't obey rules! Then who suffers? Book lovers, study lovers, and people who seek tranquility and peace to come to Thornhill Library. I haven't seen good management here. I am not satisfied with how those public services are managed.
This is a great place to pick up books and movies.
one of the best libraries i went to, very spacious, loads of resources, and next to a shopping center, hopefully the renovation makes it better!
Lots of new books, place is large, can work or study here as it is quiet with free fast WiFi. Also has 3D printer, Cricut, and regular printing service and computer to use
It's good if you want to escape the distractions of home, but it is too loud. The staff doesn't do anything to shut the kids up. The high school kids come here to hang out (which is good) but they keep talking loudly and are very inconsiderate. Not a good place if you are looking for silence.
Despite its small size, this mall offers a diverse range of retail stores and dining options. With the exception of peak school break times and end-of-day rushes, the mall tends to be relatively quiet. Additionally, the mall is well-kept and provides ample parking space for visitors.

C’est une bibliothèque pour enfants. En famille c’est parfait beaucoup d’enfants rode mais pas pour y aller pour étudier . Si vous voulez étudier c’est une mauvaise idée il y a beaucoup trop de bruits mémé le personnel parle fort et rigole fort avec leur collègue ont entend tout leur conversation. Beaucoup trop bruyant impossible d’étudier ici.
Despite reading some reviews that there noisy kids, I didn’t experience it. I stayed in the area where you see the entrance near the skating rink. I was able to do my paper at peace. They also have study/meeting rooms that you can book for private use
My little one loves this place. Art Class, pottery, ballet, dance and etc. the library is child friendly and have lots of services like 3D printing, regular printing, photocopy and etc. its super easy to register and borrow books here.
Sometime people speak with each other and they are loud and the washroom are not clean. But in general its good.

This library has interesting thing: it's in 2 countries, USA and Canada. Inside is a black line. It's a border. Workers can tell you history of this place. This is private place, but you can ask to go inside. Better don't stay there long time, immigration officers don't like it (they stay on the street nearby).

1- This is the ONLY, yes. THE ONLY public place that is built on the borderline.
2- At the first sight, it may seem like a municipality’s library. But, on the other half of the building, you will discover a 400 people capacity theater.
Moreover, almost everything is original, which means that we got a chance to see furnitures, ceilings, scenery decorations that dated over 100 years!
The theater continues to be used, I would definitely love to come back to see a show in this vintage and beautiful theater.
(Fun fact: a rumor said the Beatles wanted to perform at this site back in the days. But, because of the borderline complications, they never did:(

The security office does not seem to be concerned if the traffic laws/rules are being followed in the parking lot behind the mall - regarding the one way and the all-way stop signs. The drivers that do not observe the signs, flip off those who question why they are blatantly committing the offense - I have experienced this many times and have seen this happen to other law abiding drivers. These 'classy' law-breakers continue to get away with these violations because the security office representatives are indifferent and disinterested in these grievances that the offended mall visitors have pointed out to them. In fact, they have basically said that they can't do much about it but "thank" us for the complaint and that we should "have a nice day". Such detached and callous attitude and consequently, their inactions will give these delinquents more freedom to continue breaking the traffic laws in that area, flipping off and swearing at the rule followers. Congratulations, security office representatives at the Lynn Valley Mall - I applaud your disregard for the concerns and safety of the legitimate patrons of your mall.

Great library! It’s a good size. Lots of material, kind staff, nice patrons, large kids section, and lots of programs available! Its designed very nicely and laid out well too. They also have lots of study areas and private rooms to book. It’s always relaxing to stop by.
Small library inside Bridlewood Mall, next to Shoppers Drug Mart. Extremely casual atmosphere here...ie. Loud conversations everywhere, parents poking their heads through the library entrance and screaming their kids names continuously until someone responds or they tire and go elsewhere to find their child. Smells of McD happy meals, Popeye's chickens, Pizza Pizza..... Don't leave anything unattended, as it'll vanish into thin air. Library staff seem too have given up enforcing rules or having any standard.

I come here to study sometimes but it has been very hard recently so I switched to a different branch. The staff is surprisingly very loud. It makes it hard for me as a student to concentrate on what I am doing. It was not always like this, but recently the staff here, usually on Saturdays, talk extremely loud with no respect to the people that are here. This is very frustrating as this library is the closest library to me.

I have grown almost my whole life in Lynn Valley. I love our community in which we all live. I remember the sixties living on Church Street in Lynn Valley when the Lynn Valley Park had a big forested area of trees. We now have a lush green field on it where the trees once stood. May people who come to our community to live here, be as happy as the rest of in our own God's little acre!!
It is a biggest library in the Mississauga which is very close to square one mall and easily accessible through miway transit. Currently this library is going with renovation works. This library has many numbers of and vast variety of books to read and lend.
Not a big fashion mall like Fairview or Scarborough Town, but Parkway have all the essentials. There's Metro (for groceries, meat, bakery, prepared hot food, florist, pharmacy), Staples (office and school essentials), Shopper's Drug Mart (pharmacy, health and beauty products, groceries, greeting cards), Dollarama, Healthy Planet, PetValu, beer store, LCBO, TD, CIBC, Home hardware, Toronto Public Library, court, numerous restaurants.... and many many more. Lots of parking, TTC accessible, no crowds and no lineups.
They are actually very bad at keeping track of their books & obviously, they blame you! Thanks for not letting me borrow a book that I needed for school just because of your OWN WRONGDOING. I had to do my research & rush to buy it at a library in downtown! Thanks for wasting my money, unorganized people!
Rules are not heavily enforced and kids just run around yelling. there are many adults who do not care about anything and just eat messy foods around the books and magazines. kids use computers to game and dont want to get off if you need to print something or actually use it for education. they hold decent books, i would recommend this place just so they can hold books for you. they can hold books so i just borrow online and take it home to read.
Everyone I spoke to was so friendly and the library is simply awesome. The terms of borrowing are very generous as well. It's tempting enough to return often and read or work from here.
Has a great variety of food groceries and open space to relax. Very east going vibe and friendly folks. Parking lot is a bit busy and there is construction but itll be done eventually. One of or favorite spots just over the bridge from Vancouver east.
A great place to shop for all what you would you need groceries, clothing ,pastry, liquor, dollar store, shoppers drug mart and much more. Parking is very easy and well accessed by transit.
Renowned novelist Jane Austen once said, "I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library". She would be the happiest if alive today and in Mississauga. Undoubtedly one of the best library systems in the world in the City of Mississauga, the Central Library is the crown of them all.

I had made full use of the faculties the Central Library offered when I first landed in Canada in 2005. This past weekend, after a gap of many years, I had once again the opportunity to visit the Central Library to pick up books that i had put on hold.
I was in awe with the way nothing much had changed in the intervening years. The library continues to be the hub for students to do group studies. For newcomers to Canada to look for illuminating information and up to speed with their English. For entrepreneurs and would be entrepreneurs to use the knowledge and wisdom of business centre. Whether it is for reading, borrowing, referencing the Library has a wonderful selection of books, newspapers, magazine, periodicals, movies, DVDs and more.
What is more it is maintained very efficiently by a team that is not only very friendly but very passionate about their job. The shelves are neat the aisles clean, the atmosphere serene (except in the kids section) and reaching for any book is a very easy affair.

If I had all the time in the world the one place I would spend it in would be the Central Library. I hope the City continues to fund it well to maintain the high standards. And the staff keep the same passion to ensure this is something Jane Austen would have loved to be part of.
Used to be a family friendly mall, with a nice play area for kids. But it was taken away supposedly because some retail workers complained about the noise. I guess if the kids aren't welcome, neither are their parents with their wallets.
Nice library, great views to let your mind wonder when you should be reading. Beautiful area to go for a walk and sit to read your book.
My little hideout. Peaceful, quiet and yet full of positive energy. Staff is good and Librarians loveee to recommend. They've vending machines installed and a small makeshift cafe near the atrium. Well li, warm and beautiful spot to study or chat comfortably. It's close to Square one and Celebration Square. Parking lot is underground and the parking entrance is a tad confusing to find. It's from Duke of York Blvd. Spending time here is blissful experience for children as well as adults. I'm addicted to it.

The ongoing construction and renovation has a negative impact on the customers and people want to visit and causing a lot of inconvenience for customers.
There is a lack of directions signage .
Access to bowling centre is only through one very slow lift . No direction was installed for that centre and it is confusing
Anyway, I don’t usually go there but it was one time off . Good for the people living near by . Close to metro and Tim Horton .

Always a good place to relax, read, study, get involved with the community and find programs of various types. There's a 3D printer and an area where they sell books as well. A cafe. Women's w.c. on each (?) Floor. Men's only on the first I think.
I'm sad to say that there is just not much going on in the mall anymore. No toy store, no book store, very few places to do any actual shopping. Plenty of insurance companies and dental offices though. Sadly Winners and Romance Jewelers are the only real draws here.
A great place and very helpful bubbly staffers.Good place for students and newcomers. Free WiFi is available and is great. Getting a library card is far too easy too to rent books and CDs.
Nice place for reading and studying. Good lighting for reading. Clean and air conditioned.
Huge library with an entire floor dedicated to children's books. I regularly bring my kids here because the selection of books is so vast.
This is an older mall with a few local stores. It's got metro grocery store as an anchor with the public library and an Ontario early years center as other good tenants. It's got a dollarama and McDonald's too but that's outside. Overall, it's a place you'd come to if you need too. Nothing special, but good for day to day needs.
The new interior is looking great. There's a decent selection of English books, which is surprising due to the location. I love the used books they sell at the entrance, I always find a gem or two to take home with me!
This place needs some major renovation.
Great place for all age. There are various books and various sections for children. I love this place as most of the times you will get comfortable seats to work. Also, there are various room where you can get appointment and use that room for group study and any kind of phone interview. It has scanner and printing facility though you need to have library card to access these equipment. They are various computers to access for those who don't have computers. It's really good. The most things I like about this library is it's working hours. It's perfectly good.
Bright, cheerful, open plan layout. Great facilities on the children's floor. 3-D Printer available for use at very reasonable rates. Ample self study rooms. Helpful staff. Coffee shop downstairs. Free, covered parking after 6 and all day weekends.
Can get very loud, especially after school hours on weekdays. Staff do not intervene unless prompted. Bathrooms don't seem to be upkept throughout the day so I always have difficulty finding a clean stall. Nice space but not an ideal place to study for long hours.
Nice place to study. Decent selection of multimedia for its size. Entrance hall also serves as a public art gallery and often has some very interesting exhibitions. There's even an café area where you can drink while you work/read.
Noise level can be a hit or miss depending on the time and day. Many highschool and elementary students come here to play. They tend to be rather rowdy, having to be frequently told to be respectful of other people. The majority of workspaces also do not have access to electric outlets.

A very nice modern library. They thought about every possible need. My teenage boy likes coming here! That was a surprise for me. And my baby enjoys it too. By the way , lots of parking space.
Broad variety of documents. Many books and docs in italian. Love it, its so romantic.
