Nicely located just off the 401. It’s a large campground with a variety of campsites. Some are very small and offer little to no privacy. There’s a number of sites that are in full sun. On the other hand some of the sites are nicer. The washroom / showers and laundry mat are a bit of a walk. The beach is small as is the boat launch area. There’s no parking at the boat launch. All this being said I would recommend it for diving and kayaking

we stayed at site 88, right under the can-us bridge. it was a nice getaway but every minute it sounded like we were getting air raided due to the transports and cars speeding overhead. i would honestly stay far away from this part of the campground, as sleeping was incredibly awful. i thought people were just being dramatic about it- but nope, it was terrible haha. i honestly wish there was some kind of discount for staying at that campsite… it really took away from the nature around us. the campsite was also in pretty rough condition. there was garbage everywhere and the fire pit had at least a foot of soot in it. the bathrooms were pretty under serviced but i didn’t expect much. at such a high price point i wonder what they are doing with the money! at this time of the season, there wasn’t really anything to do activity-wise, but this didn’t bother us too much. another warning is that they ask you only use firewood sold at the reception… for 11.50 a small bag. but the thousand islands are beautiful- next time we’ll probably just stay somewhere else.

We stayed at Smuggler's nook cabin. Given that it's the last cabin in the area and no one booked a camping site right next to it, we had a nice private area with no traffic. When booking the cabin I thought it would be close to the bathrooms (as it looked to me when I checked the map), but there is no short cuts and it's a little walk.
The cabin and the washroom looked clean to me. The staff were pleasant. Where we stayed there was no noise from the bridge/ traffic.
Overall pleasant experience for a cabin stay.
It's a good spot for people going fishing/ boats or diving. I do wish there were some actual hiking trails at the camp site. The hiking trails are within10 min drive.

Great location. Wide range of sites, with lots of service. Seemed mostly oriented towards RVs when we were there, but we had an amazing spot right by the water. Noise from the bridge could affect light sleepers, and lots of boat traffic nearby, but we didn't mind it much. Small beach, but with nice sand. Fine for basic swimming, and it's fun to watch the divers.

My family and I have been going to Ivy Lea camping ground for a few years and until this year we have not had any issues. But this year was a complete disaster. The site allowed for 3 tents and we could barely fit one. The porter potties had bot been serviced for days and it was absolutely unbearable. We bought wood for our fire and it was all wet we could barely start one and it was just smoke. There were several major pot holes on the roads and the quality of service has gone severely down. The worse part was the unacceptable and inappropriate behavior of the park ranger named Kelly. She had it out for us the minute it came in. As we were putting up all our tent she waited for us to move a little bit more off the road our van and made sure to indicate with her foot where the road path started. She then returned in her pick up truck 15 minutes later again to check on us and purposely rolled over our corn hole board that was slightly encroaching on the road. Even worse she has yelled at our kids and used the f words and profane language towards our children. She forced us out and evicted us at 8pm at night and gave us 1 hour to leave and all that because our kids made a small rip in the volleyball net. We never received any warnings about it either never given a chance to talk to our kids. She has also been very abrupt and completely out of line with other customers. She is a two faced power ego park ranger and you can be sure we will file a complaint and unfortunately we will never return to Ivy Lea including the friends we were camping with. We will also tell all our other friends who ever want to go camping to not go to that place. The experience was disgusting we have never in our entire lives been treated with such disrespect.

Absolutely horrible campground. Arrived for 3 nights for the August long weekend. Site 1 is on a slop in with group camping and right beside the garbage area that was over flowing. The smell was horrible other group campers cutting through our site with garbage, teenager riding his bike cut through right beside our picnic table. Went to the office as we could not stay here. Was told a full refund would be applied only refunded for 2 nights. No one monitors what goes on at night, loud music, 2 OPP cars show up this place is a disaster and not a place to go camping to enjoy the outdoors.

I stayed here a few years ago. My family stayed in one of the cabins. It was really nice, lots of trees, easy access to water, and so on. The cabin we stayed at specifically had a little path down to a small inlet.
The only real negative is the bridge to the US. Lots of trucks at all hours of the day, often using their engine brakes to slow down, and the bridge rattles too. It wasn't as noticeable in the cabin and there are several campsites that aren't right under the bridge, but if noise is an issue for you, I would recommend not booking your site right around the bridge.
