Spaziergang zur Statue und Kaffee getrunken im Café am Berg. Sehr schöner Blick, lecker und der Preis war ok. An der Statue kann man ca 10 Minuten hoch bzw. Runter gehen und hat auch dort einen tollen Blick auf Funchal und die Küste. Es gibt einen kostenpflichtigen Aufzug zum unter der Statur liegenden Steinstrand.
Christo Rei - diese Statue wirkt größer als sie mit ihren 14m Höhe ist. Aber sehr sehenswert, wenn man sich die Mühe macht, die letzten 222 Stufen bis zu den Klippen zu gehen.
2022 steps down and then up again to the very end of the cape from the monument. About 3 or so minute walk on an uneven ground pathway - NOT wheelchair accessible - from the car park which has a cable car down to a beach AND some rudimentary WC start could do with a tart up but they're useable. 😁
Schöner Aussichtspunkt mit der berühmten Christusfigur. Deutlich kleiner als das Pendant in Lissabon oder Rio 😊 . Der Sockel der Statue ist zur Zeit eine Baustelle...
Schöner Aussichtspunkt mit Blick auf Funchal. Für zwei Euro kann man mit der Gondel fahren. Der Besuch im Lokal am Strand lohnt sich für leckere Sandwiches und ein feines Dessert.
Beautiful place to watch sunset or sunrise! Little walk down but a loooot of stairs up. There is also a small coffee place to enjoy the view.
