Beautiful rocky beach located under enormous cliffs. You can get there either by cable car straight to the beach or just by car (there is pretty big parking lot), although the gate is closed in the evening so last ~500 meters you have to walk down on foot. We found this place quiet, great spot to enjoy sunsets.
Very nice beach. There is a bar/restaurant with fast service and great food. The view from the beach is lovely. Lots of seating options available. I would recommend getting the cable car up and down as the walk is difficult. If you drive down you cannot park on the beach as it is only for staff. There is a gate which stops your car and you will still have to walk down for about 5 minutes. The cable car is cheap and fast.

Beautifull place for wild swim with/on waves. If you stay in water longer and feel cold - you can go back to car by foot to warm yourself. Normally it is accessible by cabin car. Great sunset there.
Beautiful pebble beach. You can park the car half way and walk down through an easy path. But the parking space is quite limited.
Experience the sheer beauty of one of the most exquisite beaches near Funchal, where you can luxuriate in crystal-clear waters and soak in breathtaking landscapes. In general, it is a rather calm sea and there are not many people. Every moment can be a source of joy, whether you are seated or swimming. Also, it is a safe place, but it is not a sandy beach. It is crucial for children to exercise caution.
