Food quality, quantity and generally overall omakase in Tokyo, probably the best I have found and still at decent prices compared to its peers. The owner/chef is super welcoming, speaks hood English and is always ready to speak. If you are in Tokyo and want to try high end Omakase - this one is not to miss

Definitely a tourist trap. Not sure how they get even 3+ stars here. Most 5 stars reviews must have been from foreigners that had absolutely no idea what sushi or omakase is. Definitely not worth 20000 yen for the omakase course.
Right when you enter you will notice there is absolutely no Japanese here and everybody speaks English, including the chef. That should have been our first warning. Oh well we made the reservation so it would be rude to leave..
Sushi is terrible with the price. You can see the photos: the rice part was terribly made and they put....veggie on top and call it sushi…? Conveyor belt sushi place would not even call that sushi, and could have made it better. The rest of the course was just ehhhh
It actually ruined our night. Absolutely worst sushi experience ever in JP, not just omakase. Period

Cute small restaurant with excellent service and you sit at the bar watching a master chef... But it's pretty expensive and some dishes just disappointed - the cod eggs were just not for us, the flounder nigiri was very chewy. We enjoyed the tuna dishes especially the fatty chutoro. Unfortunately the food came too fast, the pacing was poor and the portioning was off for 22 bites - at the end you're stuffed and they make you a bunch of rolls. We had a different omamkase experience at the fish market earlier in the day and it was half the price and much better.

I emailed the chef (Daisuke-san) to make a reservation 2-3 weeks in advance, and it was an easy process.
The food, hospitality, and ambience were all great. Really loved the presentation as well. Would love to come back here.

Came here via taxi on a Wednesday night in mid November 2023. I emailed them to make a reservation a month and a half beforehand. They responded the same day.
There was one group that walked it but the restaurant made accommodations for them in a private room. We sat at the Chef's table. They said Omakase style (Chef's choice is 20,000 yen per person, excluding drinks and consumption tax). The average budget will be around 25,000 yen and they take foreign credit cards.
We paid 46,200 yen and we ordered a few drinks. The service was excellent and the chef knew English. The food was very good. My favorites was the seared otoro. I was stuffed by the end of it and took our last roll home with us to-go.

This sushi restaurant was absolutely phenomenal. This was the best sushi my wife and I have ever had. There are ten seats at the counter and it is a typical Japanese layout with the chef preparing the food in front of you. Chef Daisuke was amazing. It was wonderful to see him make every course meticulously and with great care. He was very engaging and was chatting with us and giving us recommendations of other places/restaurants to visit in Tokyo. Regarding the food, every course was better than the other. The oysters were fresh and juicy. He served 3 different cuts of the same tuna, and it was the highlight of the night. The tuna melted in your mouth. We also had mackerel that was sun dried on the roof of the restaurant which was excellent. Regarding the drinks, the sake was very good. We had plum wine that was made by chef Daisuke's mother and was fantastic. The atmosphere was great. It is located on a quiet side street in Roppongi. Our evening at Chef Daisuke's restaurant surpassed all expectations. It wasn't just about the food, but the entire experience – from the ambiance to the service. Would 100% recommend and eagerly anticipate our next visit.
