Ma Petite Jamaica

Best meal I’ve had in a long time; highly recommend the mixed grill if you like spicy. Good value for money, most of our bill consisted of cocktails, which were amazing too. We will be back for sure.

We stumbled upon this bar on a busy, bank holiday weekend lunch time. We were in the smaller bar on the left and ordered a couple of drinks and some food. Nachos were plentiful and well dressed, chili squid was really tasty and well prepared and the macaroni cheese had a nice crispy top. Friendly staff, good music and the food was very good.

Beautiful atmosphere, great music! It’s hard to resist the urge to dance because the old school Jamaican songs are so vibrant! Romeo was the perfect host and mixologist, he even gave us extra shots! Angel was a very polite waitress. And ofc the food was scrumptious and very flavoursome! I can’t wait to visit Ma Petite Jamaica again!

Booked as an Birthday dinner for my Wife.

Mentioned this on the booking and also because of the time of year we did not want to be sat by the door.

We arrived and our table was by the door, they did move us to another table.

As it was Happy Hour we ordered drinks but were informed that it was only certain Cocktails that we're included, so we could not even get a Rum Punch this was very disappointing indeed.
I've never known a happy hour were you can only have the cheaper drinks. We're only talking a bit of Rum here! At Cottons you can have what ever Cocktails are on the list!.

Some elements of food, Dumplings, Festivals, Fritters seemed overcooked and hard.

After our first course I mentioned to our waiter that the food was not very hot and could our mains be hotter. She said that she would mention this to the kitchen. Our mains came out and for the most part was not very hot.

Ma Petite has an amazing Vibe and the tunes playing must have come from my own collection.

This was a very big point for us! why ask for the occasion (my wife's Birthday) and it's not followed up by Ma Petite with some sort if gesture it would have made a difference and was very disappointing for us.

It was a lovely evening i came to have a family meal for my birthday. All staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The meal was nicely presented. We made it in time for happy hour which ended at 7pm. If only I had a few more drinks. The music was also very lively with a great mixture of old school and new bashment.

They also read the note that I wrote which was nice and came out with a birthday cake for me, we was also given complimentary shots.

The manager had loads of banter which was nice I'm sure he would have given me a bottle of vinegar if he could have lool. So thank you to you all.

The food tasted extremely delicious and I think I will definitely be coming here very often. The waiters and waitresses have given the kindest hospitality and service they could. I’m in awe by the level of food it’s given. It was also halal, which meant I enjoyed it so much more!

Went for a Bottomless Brunch and was really pleased. From the moment I sat down, I was asked which drink I wanted and received it almost instantly. My cup was never left empty, and was constantly topped up. I definitely lost track of how many I had.

The rum punch was really nice and wasn’t too overpowering, which allowed us to keep drinking without feeling like it was too much alcohol.

The food was also delicious. A perfect portion size to accompany bottomless drinks.

It was a very hot day and the AC was on, so it didn’t feel hot or sticky in the restaurant at all. Which was perfect. Music was right to our taste and overall just a really great vibe. Will definitely come back!
