Silver Lake Park

Actually quite cute Baldwin town park along Foxhurst Ave. There is a small parking lot at the corner of Foxhurst and Hillside Ct. You can combine loop in Silver Lake park with Lofts Pond park visit via connecting trail between Wateredge Ave and Merrick Rd (along the edge of Caroline’s pond).

It seems like it would be a great park but there seems to be some construction or plans for a garden that really ruins the look and a LOT of goose feces everywhere. Otherwise a really nice and cozy park.

If you're close to this park, I will recommend you to visit it. It's worth it. You can see many different types of birds and even turtles 🐢 😉.

It is disappointing that the remodeling of the park is taking so long, it is been months since it started, and the progress that they made is very slow. I do not know what the reason for such a delay is.

Hopefully, we will have the park available soon, which is beneficial for the animals and people who enjoy their presence.

Finally, the park is open, and there are some improvements, such as the path, but it is still a work in process.

I live nearby and walk through the park at least twice a week. Small jewel of a ribbon park in suburban Nassau. Northern section is very nice. I wish there wasn't so much bird poop by the main lake.

Quiet park, access trough the path starting at Merrick road and walk through it until reaching the park , lost of mallards and geese and a couple of swans , seating available

It's a great Park to take a walk in it has a lake with ducks and geese and if you look very carefully you can see turtles

Nice place to take pictures and to chill and feed the ducks
