Greeted immediately and the smell of the freshly popped pop corn sent me into a moment of nostalgia. I was surprised how much more they had beyond the needs I had when I walked in.
I needed bolts for a dog crate that was delivered with the wrong size. GI Hardware staff took the time to help me find just what I needed and the price was great! Highly recommend for all your hardware and yardwork needs!
We shopped there for over 20 years before we retired and moved. Awesome service. Always enjoyed shopping there. Knowledgeable employees. They installed our Generac generator. A real asset to the island.
They have odds and ins on all kinds of stuff. Old family hardware with new items great prices friendly staff. Shop the local guys before the big hardware, they cost more.
Always nice coming here. Very neat inside with everything exactly where it should be. The staff inside are VERY knowledgeable and always know exactly where everything is and can point you in the right direction. They will help you even if you don't know exactly what you need. I do feel like its important to mention that they do have free popcorn also sometimes haha.
I love this place - you can buy literally anything here. The people that work there are always really friendly and know where everything is. If you ask where screws are, they just don't point you to an aisle. They'll walk you there, ask about your project, make recommendations, etc. Then you can buy a beer to celebrate when you finish the job. Definitely a great place to shop.
Love GI hardware! Always friendly and ready to help as soon as you walk in. Met the owners on Ladies Night and found out they are amazing as well. They now sell liquor, too. Everyone should give them business and keep this local store thriving!
